Manipulation - Big Brother

Aisleyne, Grace, Lea, and Nikki.
All of them have at some point been accused of this.

I will list the preferred methods of these women

Aisleyne.

Chosen method: Sexual manipulation.
Form: Dresses and walks around provocatively, while bathing with male house mates.

Effectiveness: While this may secure safety from Male votes it will definitely upset rival females in the house, and guarantee them voting against you. Also if over used will enrage male hm's, if they are kept sexual frustrated. IMO opinion this is not very effective unless it is used subtly. This level only works in Bond movies and even then, not on Mr Bond himself. This one doesn't go down to well with the public

Grace.

Chosen method: Spin Doctor.

Form: Playing people off against each, other using the natural paranoia of the environment.

Effectiveness: A personal favourite of mine. Telling half truths to people, already feeling paranoid. While acting as if you are trying help. Then doing the same to their suspected enemy. Spin is a matter of planning, timing and perfect execution. And this time it was not in the hands of an amateur. It Saw off Sam and if she had stayed, probably Lea too. Highly effective against other hm's, so long as you are not caught (like Nickl Bateman).Will get you to the final week, but with a nasty reception awaiting you. (For women that is practically winning.)

Lea

Chosen Method: Emotional Blackmail and Abuse of trust.

Form: Crying and Hogging the Favourite HM

Effectiveness: To be honest Poisoning other peoples relationships, smoothering people and crying a lot. Doesn't to me seem a good way of getting anything other on other people nerves. However it is a very good method of getting your own way in the house. It make it hard for people to deny you anything. The only problem is that it only works face to face. The moment people are safely away from your tentacle like clutches, and in the diary room. They can open up on you big time. Effectiveness only good for getting you an outside chance of being layed.

Nikki

Chosen Method: Tantrums

Form: Adopting child like manner and throwing grade A wobblies.

Effectiveness.: For most people this would be suicide. You are really taking the Pete Burns route which is make enough noise and people will trade up for a bit of peace and quiet. It will get you voted up fro eviction but if you can hack off the other house mates in the right way? It will keep you in on entertainment value alone. It takes the right kind of personality. You need a lot of charm and charisma to pull this off. If you are convincing you will have the producers worried about your sanity, as well your fellow house mate Tip toeing around you, like their is broken glass on the floor. With the public both loving and hating you. All three sectors under your spell. Bravo.

This is not based on what I think happened. Just on what they have been accused of. It's about how well I think it worked for them if that was their true intention

The question I'm putting to the forum is which form of manipulation do you feel is the least acceptable? Effective? And a short or long explaination why?

Nikki has a card of her own in a limited Top Trumps edition set, released over the summer. The edition is 'Top Freaks', I think it's called. I remember Pete Docherty, Victoria Beckham, Michael Jackson, Madonna and Simon Cowell are in it, too.

Says a lot with out actually saying anything leaving it down to others to translate him and what he means, that way he can back out in which ever direction he chooses always claiming it was the other that got his signals wrong.

Form: Confuse everyone by telling them your name in a broad accent: Bonneh, so when nominations come around they wont have a clue who you are and therefore not vote for you

Effectiveness: Poor. Even Big Brother contestants arent that stupid, they eventually worked it out

Form: Emit in close proximity and at every conceivable opportunity whilst cunningly concealing true persona fashioned at Swiss finishing school

Effectiveness: Dubious. Attempts to disable fellow H/M's by this method are ultimately doomed to failure as most are already used to functioning adequately at low levels of consciousness
