Unfortunately, my parents have neither Sky nor cable!

However, I think I'll manage to get by without multichannel TV for a day or two.

Mind you, as soon as they can find a shop that has some Freeview boxes in, they'll be getting it.

It seems that the range of channels, especially BBC 4, BBC News 24, UK History, ITV 2 when Frost or Morse are on, Sky Travel, ( and also BBC 7, BBC World Service & Oneword) and the fact that it is Free to View have convinced these digital refusniks to upgrade to multichannel (Not Pay) TV.

If only TCM and Eurosport could sign up, it'd be TV Heaven for many of the older generation.

There is nothing Merry about Christmas.

I Hate it !!!

It should be Banned, or just have it once every 10 years.

It was invented by shop keepers and the Government just to make them loads of money.

I thoroughly love Christmas for loads of reasons. I hate it when people moan about how they wish it was banned etc. just beause theyre too boring to celebrate.before anyone starts about losing loved ones at Christmas, I lost my sister a few years ago on Christmas Eve
