Totally removing software so i can install it again

This is a legit question before anyone wonders!

I got a book out of my university library last night which contains an evaluation version of a program i need for part of my project (labview). It says it is valid for 30 days. I installed it last night and then went to run it, worked fine.

I quit and then tried to have a little play later, but now its telling me that the evaluation period has expired already? Its definitely not been 30 days unless i've been sucked into some kind of time travelling vortex. I've tried the sneaky trick of putting the system clock back but that didnt work, so is there anything that can be done? Is there a program that can remove it *completely* from the system, allowing a fresh reinstall? Please help, ta!

I assume you have tried to uninstall it via Add/Remove programs?

If that didn't work, can you find/identify the programme's folder via "Explorer" ? If so, open it and see if it contains an uninstallation file.

Do you have Crapcleaner on your system? Have you tried unistalling via that? Alternatively, delete every reference to the programme you can find then run CrapCleaner to get rid of the rest including the registry entries.

Others may have alternative ideas.

You may even need to edit the registry manually to remove any trace of it, that is probably where the timer is, just make sure to back up the registry first.

Check your system date/time. These things often break if the clock was set incorrectly either at the beginning, or currently.

Cheers guys. There is nothing wrong with my system clock, it just broke by itself

I've found a more recent demo online though so i'll try that and hopefully it'll work
