Coronation Street spoiler: Cilla and Les - Soaps

Poor Cilla. What with coping with having skin cancer over Christmas and then finding out that ****less husband Les has had a fling with her best mate Yana Lumb, she’ll then split up with Les and move out. The Daily Star says that not only does Cilla move out when she can’t forgive Les for his fling with Yana, but Chesney packs his bags and goes with her too. Even Fiz turns against Les and tells him he’s a rotten dad after he starts hitting the bottle and getting boozed up. Serves him right, eh?

Sounds good, hardly surprising though..Les cheated on Cilla when she needed him most, but i don't blame him TBH for suspecting her at first, as she is not the most trustworthy woman in the world! I am not surprised about Chesney moving out with Cilla, i hope they both stay in the Street when they move out though, where would they go?! I hope they're sticking around.

I never even thought about that spoiler being true, of course having cancer the spoiler is a possibility but i never thought Corrie would take the storyline down this route. Are you sure you read this right?

Sulla's right, Cilla is a hypocrite but to be fair, he did the same to Janice as well but now it's not acceptable with her bad news etc.

Steve Frost is trying to make the Battersby-Brown family more credible, and less cringeworthy.

I think that this storyline is going to work for all the characters concerned - even Les!

Wendi Peters was excellent last night!

i really felt for cilla last night.
her total chane of wardrobe and the inability to speak was so subtle and fantastic

i really hope that they make a good job of this story.

I hope they don't get rid of her, she's always good for a laugh.

I can't believe that Les has affair with Yana. You can see that there is something there, but he seems to really love Cilla. And I thought he'd be there for her completely, through her cancer.

I hope this personality transplant of Les's doesn't last long, and they get back together. I love them as a couple!

that she fools les and yana into thinking her cancer is terminal over christmas , and they do a fund raising thing for her "cillas dream fund" and they have to bath in mushy peas or the like to raise money

But she's only doing it for revenge.

When I first read about Cilla's cancer, I read that the doctor tells Cilla there's a 50% chance that she might not survive longer than 5 years.

I'm enjoying this storyline.

Much more realistic and interesting than sh*gging your stepmother.
