Leona's parents...
Did I imagine this or did Leona's parents look annoyed when she was singing her song - after the result had been announced. Her mom looked distracted and gave Leona's dad a filthy look. Neither of them were smiling. I was expecting them to be beaming and tearful....

Maybe they're disappointed that she's whored herself to Cowell. Or there's a behind the scenes bust-up between them.

I noticed because I was so shocked that they were just standing there looking miserable as sin, when if my daughter had won i would be hysterical jumping up and down.

I think they looked shocked more than anything. I didn't notice any filthy looks though.

Maybe they'd just psyched themselves up to expect the worst and it took them a while to realise that Leona had actually won? Not everyone jumps up and down hysterically.

I think it was an emotional moment but not a surprise. They knew she deserved it.
Her mum was really pleased and hugging her on Xtra Factor but her dad didn't for some reason. |

Wow! I also saw the odd look between them and would love to know what they thought or said to one another!
Could be he needed the loo and she said "Yeh roit". But yes, it was noticeable. I'm glad other people noticed it too. |
