Got to say that this is the album which disappointed me the most in 2006. I found it deeply boring, even lazy in places, and seemed like a caricature of themselves. Don't think I even managed to get to the finish of it in fact.

Bar a very few tracks on albums here & there, RCHP lost their funk & Soul after Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik was released IMO. They have gone too far into AOR territory for me.

I agree with you. I love a lot of the Chilli's stuff but 'By The Way' is quite literally one of the worst records I've ever heard and apart from a couple of tunes the new album doesn't do it for me. It's like the demise of The Manics, it's painful.

The rest of the albums pretty hit and miss for me.

I now switch off the radio when this lot come on as I know it will be a rehash of other tracks they've released. They really should call it a day as they've become embarassing to be honest.
