six of one and half a dozen of another....do you agree?

This is gonna be controversial but.............

if you listen and think about what shilpa and jade are doing. Are they are both doing a form of rasism..............

they are both picking on each others back ground differences, up bringing etc.

jade is saying things like indian, princess, she is used to having her bread buttered for her and more

shilpa is saying things like, roadside trash (or similar) she needs ellecoution lessons, no class, that she was brought up differently and more

ive been thinking about this and they both cant help how they were brought up, jade cant help her lack of class, vocabulary, accent, family members, being dragged up, no more than shilpa can help being born into a loving home, having a different culture, upper class, ability to act etc.

Jade does tend to loose it quite easily and swear and be uncoof, which i think is a lack of vocabulary and surely an example set by her mother and shilpa is no angel her comments are just as insulting and shilpa was the first one to talk about jade behind her back jade had not been in house an hour before shilpa was in the toilets with jermaine saying she could not bear her for long.

with all this in mind why is everyone slatting jade and making her out to be an out and out racistshe is not helped by jo and danielle who laugh and egg her on. Cleo, jermaine, dirk and H do nothing. But oh boy do they have a lot to say after every conflict behind their backs.

Big brother is worst of all they could end this if they wanted to but no they make thing worse by penilising them with the shopping bill and making it look like Shilpas fault, they could have overlooked it with the current tensions, but why do that if there is another chance to stir the pot up and the ratings must be booming.

Jade was embarrasing to watch tonight on the show purely because she does not know how to get her point across, so she shouts swears and goes on too long...danielle and jo laughing did not help....but she had a point shilpa was being a bit unreasonable. i think shilpa gave as good as she got and if this was an arguement with any other girl in the house (which could so easily have been) would there be such global outcry!

i think they are as bad as each other and this is down to class not racism!

what do you think

I don't think it's racism, more of a class war.
Shilpa is not the innocent she makes out she is remaining calm as she is here to promote herself.
Jade had some good points but doesn't put them across well.
With all these racism accusastions (of which if any Danielle may be guilty of) flying around in the same vein Jermaine can be accused of it with his white trash comment and Shilpa with her gutter comment and making a sweeping generalisation of the UK being like Jade!

No, I do not agree. Jade has not been the target of a sustained campaign of vicious bullying.

I compleatley agree with you
however i think that Cleo Dirk Ian staying out of it is a good thing because they shouldn't get involved it's shilpa's battle with Jade, Jade shouts off to her friends and bitches excuse me but who doesn't when they don't like someone.
Your right there both as bad as each other!!!

Totally agree with you! (Ducks!)

Jade has not said anything racial. All this hoo ha, has got toally out of hand.
It is more a cultural/class thing, it may even be seen to be a form of bullying - but racist it is not!

Watching the HL show tonight, and the oxo argument I felt Dan & Jo's laughing was maybe a 'nervous' laugh? You know, when you can't believe what you're hearing/seeing and just can't help laughing. I do it - I did it while watching that.
I also don't feel they were laughing at Shilpa, but at Jade, and the tirade that was pouring, uncontrolably from her!
(Until Dan said she shoud eff off home! ) That wasn't necessary!
If Shilpa was english, and conducted herself exactly as she has been doing, they still wouldn't get on!
Girls are bitchy. This is what happens when this many female's are all vying (sp?) for the alpha role.

is it vicious bullying, there has been no punches i was bullied at school and still have the scars to prove it.....

please note i am trying to see this from both sides think they both are generally good people

i do think the tensions in the house has had a green house effect on the whole thing.

i also remember jade being bullied when she was in their, maybe she is worried it will happen again and she is retaliating rather than being stepped on like last time.

again these are only possibilities just trying to even up the arguements

I agree. I also think Shilpa does say things that often get overlooked.

Bullying doesnt have to involve physical violence.

Thats not my opinion, that is , in fact, the law.

Totally agree. Shilpa is also at fault. However it protrays her in a better light and Jade gets the stick is the way Jade speaks - loud and aggressive, while Shilpa speaks gently and walks away from the situation - end up crying in the toilet & complaining to Jermaine.

Evict BOTH on Friday.

Mistral, I think your post is one of the best I've read on this board - you managed to avoid hysteria and instead chose to look at the situation in a rational, well balanced way.

Welcome to 2007.
But she isn't a little girl and she can walk at any moment anyway. There are always alliances in Big Brother, and it's a competitive game in which people are trying to win.

I see. And if you bully someone enough to make them walk, thats just fine and dandy?

'F**k off back home'

'Get that f***ing rug off'

I'd love to see what Shilpa has done to 'deserve' that.

Exactly..if she felt bullied and could not cope she would walk unlike people in the 'real' world who have no choice to walk away from a situation..but just like all the other HM's Shilpa is trying to get some promotion and money out of this
