A close call between Austrian Smoked Cheese and Somerset Brie, Austrian Smoked Cheese is a little better though.

I can provide my own.

But seriously, I don't have one favourite cheese. I do like a strong mature cheddar, but I love blue cheese too. I've just bought some bleu d'Auvergne from Sainsburys and it looks delicious. Saint Agur is a good blue one, or a nice blue brie such as Cambozola.

Aaargh, the agony of choice!!

EDIT: I've just tasted that one I bought today and it's gorgeous.

What do you do with a smelly cheese when it`s a year old?

Wish it a happy birthday

Well my favourite is Buffalo Mozzarella, the buffalo are too small for the naked eye to see.

You're having a laugh

Best tasting cheese for me has to be Cathedral City mild cheddar. Superb on toast.

Give me a really strong mature Cheddar any day and I mean the REAL Cheddar not that plastic-wrapped supermarket rubbish.

But when they mature, they grow buffalo wings and fly off to infest another batch of mozzarella....

Double Gloucester makes a nice change from cheddar. Never had the nerve to try some of the more exotic ones, may keep an eye on this thread, next time I'm down the supermarket might have a nibble.

Cheese is my favourite food (but not with worms )
Cheddar, brie, gruyere, raclette, roquefort, gorgonzola, dolcelatte, parmesan, appenzeller, camembert, mature gouda, vignotte, emmenthal, comte, beaufort. Love them all and more. As you might have gathered I am a bit obsessed

Monterrey Jack is different from the Jalapeno stuff. MJ is one of my favourite cheeses but hard to find over here. Tescos started carrying it in the last year or so.
