Summer (end of May to start of Sep) by a country mile. I absolutely love it. Then I like pre-Xmas winter (Nov & Dec) but Jan-March are the worst time of year. Nothing to look forward to.

Having said that, the weather this January has largely been like spring conditions. If the weather continues like this, winter may not be so bad after all.

October when autumn is in full swing. I'd say the depths of winter but it never snows here, so the big plus side of the chill doesn't exist.

The long - dark nights from autumn through to spring.

From about mid-May, I'm basically just waiting until August comes round again.

I love the end of summer, around Aug and Sept, you know the long dark nights are coming soon so you appreciate the weather even more.

I love all seasons , I really love a nice cold winter with plenty of snow and ice not only is it nice with the snow and great to get indoors and snuggle up it really makes you appreciate the long hot summers days when they come.

But as we have weird weather these days with warm January's and dodgy summers , well its all becoming a bit skewiff.

Autumn I love. Something about the dusky evenings, and when it's dry and still, the smells are magical. Probably because I have so many good memories of that time of year too.

Summer - you always get atleast one week where it is so uncomfortably hot that all you want to do, even in the evening, is sit there with as little on as possible and drink your own drool to keep from spontaneously combusting.

Winter is my favourite, and the autumn. A lot of my favourite things (Christmas, Six Nations rugby, New Year's Eve) happen in those seasons.

I hate spring and summer. I don't cope well with heat, and I just feel fed up all the time

Normally Winter because of Christmas but however for some strange reason with these Ice Storms and stuff we've been getting in Texas it's been super Freezing Cold and raining this year like 30 and 40 degrees.

It's not like the normal winter weather we get here, where the lowest the Tempeture is about 67 degrees. I hate this winter weather this year!! I'm actually having to wear a Coat this year for winter!!

Hopefully everything will be back to normal for Texas next year

I cant decide as there are a few periods in the year which I think are great .

Spring when the weather is good and the trees are in blossom.
( 'specially after a long winter )

Early summer when it's warm but not too hot and the days are at their longest, I love it being light past 10 o clock.

As mentioned , autumn in full swing . Leaves turning red and gold , crisp clear days and brilliant sunsets.

Late Spring and early Summer. Warmth (if we are lucky) and long days/short nights. Flowers and trees in full bloom, things coming into life. I hate Autumn when everything is dying and shrivelling, and I hate winter with the cold, wet and dark.

Sorry, but I can't stand the heat in Summer and the 'wasps from hell' and 'midgey's from the depths of Satan's trousers!!! Love the Winter months, the cold, at least you can wrap up warm then, whereas in Summer, you can't peel off your skin (unless sunburnt ) because of the heat. I'm not too keen on the change over from Winter to Spring, I get a bit confused then.

Definatly early summer. Sort of around May, June time. I love the long warm summer evenings. Watching Corrie and Eastenders when its still daylight

Lovely flowers and plants in full bloom. Going to a nice country pub and having a drink in the beer garden in the sunshine.

Best time - October to around now. A bit later if there's a late cold snap like there was last March.

Worst - April to around mid-August. After that you can see the first signs that summer is coming to an end and autumn is on the way.
