Cactii

Bought some cactus from a shop awhile ago... the were in a small pots. One of the plants sprouted yellow flowers and another one sprouted red flowers. The flowering didnt last long on the red one.

How often should they be watered ? Also how fast do they grow ? I think my small pot isnt big enougth for him.

I have several small cacti plants in small pots. They're all at least 12 years old. I water them two or three times a year. I haven't had one die on me yet. They like to be pot-bound so don't repot them. I have them all on a window sill in the roon I have the pc. They're said to absorb the negative stuff that the computer gives off like radiation, etc.

I have lots of cacti, some are quite big. I just water mine once a week or once a fortnight, but only a tiny bit of water. Mine sit on the window sill in the sun and above a radiator, so i dont want them totally drying out.

Mine are also above a radiator. You really don't need to water them that often.
