Not yet, but it doesn't surprise me.

This is not a new phenomenon though!
On the BBC Open Catalogue, they have detailed running orders for news broadcasts, with descriptions of shots with each item.

From a news broadcast from the past, I found this.

'Britain is said to be enjoying its mildest winter for nearly 50 years.
ms Royal Horticultural Society house at Wisley (3s) var s flowers in Society's gardens (10s) INTV: mcs John CLAYTON, Royal Horticultural Society: re types of flowers now blooming (30s) var s flowering shrub (41s) var s daffodils (45s) mcs polyanthers (48s) ms croci (56s) ms roses (1m05s) ms fuschias (1m08s) INTV: mcs CLAYTON. '

And the date of this item?

You might be surprised...

They will get a nasty shock next week as it is due to turn much colder.

Not in my garden, but two doors away they have a couple out in full bloom in their front garden. It's not a sheltered spot. These flowers are on an open lawn exposed to all the elements.

Mine are up and in bud. Of course it depends how warm it is in the next few days before they actually flower.

4 miles down the road from here, on the banks outside the church, the daffodils have been out in full bloom for almost two weeks. Nice to see, but also very worrying I think. My grass also needs cutting, it's about 7 inches high now, the same as it normally is at the end of March. Birds are building their nests, there's butterflies and bees around. All this is fine if the weather stays mild, but we are sure to have some bad, cold weather, and all these things will perish.

Yes mine have been up and tall ready to pop for ages! I noticed them on Xmas Day! My geraniums have had a slight bloom all winter as well.

Haven't seen any daffies poking through yet in Aberdeen - but was annoyed by a fly at work today at lunchtime.

There's a cherry-tree that is in blossom on our road. Our tulips are coming up (about 3" so far) and a pot of Geraniums looks to be budding.

All very wrong...

some bulbs we put in in October are coming up now (not sure what they are tulips or daffodils) an iris has popped up and opened but only about 2 inch of the ground (should be taller) and one snowdrop has opened, which i`m surprised at, as we dug them up from our old place, and there supposed to be planted "green", but they where bulbs.,

and a fusia bush hasn`t stopped flowering since we moved in.

Ive got tulips , daffs and crocii coming up. Its also strange to see the tree in the garden still losing leafs and its now in bud at the same time!! If a bad frost comes next week (-6 here in edinburgh its forecast) I think they will all perish.

I saw them early last year in my little town in Wales. Seen about this year but haven't seen any in my garden because it looks like a jungle.

This morning there is a very sharp frost . These are set to continue for the next few days. This will inhibit the the daffodils from actually coming out into full bloom.
