Girls who do Comedy/Boys who do Comedy - TV Programmes

I just was flipping through Youtube and saw that they had all 3 episodes of this great little documentary series on there. So, I've been watchingit and I find it really cool. A great mix of American and British comediennes of all ethnicities, ages and backgrounds.

Some people who I thought were missing, were Caroline Aherne, Ellen Degeneres, Kath and Kim, Roseanne and the Three Non Blondes. Also what about Josie Lawrence?

I have heard that they are going to make a male version of the show which will be an interesting contrast. (At first I was wondering, what if there was a Male version and Lenny would host it?) I wonder who they wil get for that one.

I think the thing about "Girls Who Do Comedy" was that it was looking at a smaller section of the comedy market.

There are a lot less female comedians than male comedians, and it is therefore easy to look at them as a group. If you did "Boys Who Do Comedy" you'd be looking at most comedians, as most comedians are male.

I just was watching the beginning of the second episode of the series. I know all of the comediennes being interviewed, except for the one at approximately 2:30 who said that she had one boyfriend but he was gay. Ive seen the end credits, but her picture doesn't come up. Is it one of the girls on the description list?
