No Sky news channel? - Freeview

I live in Preston Lancs, have a freeview box and have very good reception of sky news ( channel 82).

I recently bought a freeview box for my parents ( who live in the West Mids), again, really good reception... except... We can't get it to find Sky news at all. Channel 82 is blank.
Every other channel shows on both sets.

Anyone have any suggestions for 'finding it'?

You done a rescan?

Can you pick up any of these channels?:
Sky 3
Sky Sports News
UKTV History
E4 +1

Yes..
On mine we get all of those.. (Er.. not sure about Sky3? will look) But parents box gets all we get. Just Not Sky news??

Maybe for some reason, it may not broadcast from that transmitter or may be temporarily not available. Are you sure no one keeps going on your box and deleting it?*

*why anyone would want to delete it I don't know.
