martin/sonia exit - Soaps

hey ive been away for two weeks, how did they leave? I missed everythin g lol!

Sonia was going to leave without him and Rebecca but Martin packed up him and Rebecca's stuff (into like one suitcase) and stopped the cab to get in and they drove off into the sunset, well basically.

Basically Martin said he wanted to be with Sonia, Sonia said she always ruins his life so wouldn't go back with him. She then says she's leaving Walford to go to Biancas. She has a farewell drink in the pub which is emotional. Martin tries to get her back and you see him and Rebecca eating their tea and Rebecca looking sad. You see Sonia getting in the cab. Martin grabs Rebecca and they both run to the cab and jump in. Martin says they're going with Sonia and then end up kissing with Rebecca sitting between them smiling. Cab drives off

i personally loved the ending to sonia and martins exit.nice to see a happy ending for a change.

It was the biggest load of kack i've seen on a soap.

We were to beleive that Sonia, who loved Rebecca with all her heart and would die for her (remember the heartache when she had her lesbian fling

) decides that she has to start a new life for herself in Birmingham or some such place and is abandoning Rebecca never to see her again (she will of course write and will be her special friend, she tells Rebecca). Then Martin who hated Sonia a few weeks ago decides that he wants to be with her while Sonia who loved Martin a few weeks ago decides that she doesn't want him. There was a 'do' in the Vic (at which point I turned over as it was making me sick). I thought she'd be gone by the next episode so I tuned in and she was still there and had spent the night with Martin but still wanted to leave him and Rebecca. After much shouting and crying she got into a taxi and drove off then the headlights shined on Martin and Rebecca's face (they were sitting on the ground in front of the taxi), they both got into the taxi and Martin made a little speech about he was going with her coz he can't let her go and they started kissing and crying.

Its Rebecca I felt sorry for, she was put up for adoption then lost both her adoptive parents, she was looked after by her grandmother who died then she is saddled with Martin and Sonia, then Sonia leaves and sort of comes back, then she decides that she's gonig to 'emigrate' to Birmingham! I know its only fiction but even so!
