aqua i loved them!

anyone remember aqua? i was just thinkin about how much i loved them as a kid and was looking at clips of them on youtube. i was reminded of how catchy their songs were and they were actually really cool, if you didn't take them too seriously. i knew where i stood with them, people used to take the mick and say they were cheesy but they were just 'them' and thats what made them cool! and lene was gorgeous, i aslo used to fancy claus. I've just watched an old clip of them performing on the smash hits roadshow in 1998. they were doing 'doctor jones' and it still sounds wicked! they were lovely people aswell

I like Turn back time. It's a great song and probably one of the decent songs they'd ever sung.

As for Barbie Girl, well i liked it when I was 6 but today i absolutely loathe that song.

I used to like them and bought both albums that were 'big', but when I went back to the albums a few years ago I found they were no longer that good. Some bands are timeless, but for me, Aqua isn't one of them.

OMG, they were terrible!!

Sorry, but even for novelty value Aqua were awful! I didn't like their 'music' at all.

Turn Back Time is an excellent song.

I'm not ashamed to say that I quite liked Dr Jones too.

My favourite was 'We Belong To The See'. Lene looks hot in the video!

I'd rather listen to Aqua than a lot of the guff currently bothering the charts. 'Turn Back Time' is actually quite underrated, I think.

Dr Jones and Barbie Girl must have been two of the worst songs of the 90's

I'm with the majority on this thread, really. Turn Back Time was a really good song and is horribly underrated, but I think that's because it followed two incredibly cheesy, semi-novelty songs. That said, there was something disturbingly catchy about Doctor Jones....

Barbie Girl was rubbish though!

People slag them off...but are they any worse than any of your RnB/hip hop crap? At least they could sing and put a decent melody together unlike anyone on the "urban scene."
