Yawn Yawn Yawn Virgin Folks

If Virgin (get some friggin coverage) is so good why are there dozens of Virgin (get some friggin coverage) subscribers on here spending their time ranting against Sky

read an old issue of Private Eye?

The channels have gone, the PR war goes on...get over it

I suspect it's because there are people with a distinct Sky-biased slant to their posts deliberately trying to wind them up.

For example, I was just reading a post where someone put "get some friggin coverage" after every mention of the word Virgin. If that's not designed to wind VM fanboys up, I don't know what is!

Go away. People like you need to get the **** out of cable forums if you are here only to say Sky is good.

Virgin are currently working on rolling out TV services via ADSL. Coverage enough for you? We rant against Sky on occasion because people like YOU trigger arguments.

As I posted on another thread..

Why are all the Sky supporters on here, have they lost out on anything..?

Or are they annoyed at VM because they know their subs are going to be going up soon to compensate for the ~£60M loss..?

Did you report a post as you didn't agree with your opinion. Please don't take your ball away.

I have always preferred Sky, I only switched to Cable due to the the fact It was in my gf's name and we got 3 months of the services at half price.

Now this has happened no doubt I will be switching. I have no problem with the way Virgin has handled this. It has just helped me make my move to change. Sky has always been and will always be the better service. As far as I can see all Virgin Media offer is on Demand which is built around repeats.

You lose a good few channels that I watch when staying with Virgin Media so for me the choice is easy. I'm going to stick with masses and get my Sky back on.

Coke outsells the next biggest cola drink because its the best. Sky is no different.

No, not really. Theres a large presence on the Sky forum by VM members

I'm just bored of Branson and co pretending they are running some local backwater TV company with no money

Why the smug remark? It's obvious you only posted this to start yet more arguments between Virgin and Sky customers!

No. I reported the post as it is a deliberate attempt to cause more arguments rather than discussions.

I like this thread. It's like a template for whenever people on DS Forums get fed up with something.

Search and replace "Virgin" for "Shilpa" and "Sky" for "Jade" and "Customers" for "Fans", it still makes pretty good sense.

Or "Yvette" "Derek" and "Most Haunted Fans"...

... or pretty much anything
