Little Britain Make Surprise Appearance On Neighbours

Little Britain Stars Make Surprise Appearance On Neighbours

Little Britain stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas have filmed a surprise appearance in Aussie soap Neighbours.

The comedy duo are currently in the land of Oz performing the stage version of their hit TV show, but took a break to appear as Lou and Andy in the long-running series.

Their special characters appear in a scene alongside Toadie (Ryan Moloney), Steph Scully/Hoyland (Carla Bonner) and Pepper Steiger (Nicky Whelan), which will be aired in Britain in September.

Reports Walliams cracked on to Steph Scully/Hoyland could not be confirmed at this present time.

Blimey, is there no escape? They turn up everywhere, and now in Australia! What a bore.

Well it's probably going to be better than the Pet Shop Boys becoming lost in Ramsay Street with Marlene asking where they were going before she went of on her forever ending cruise!

And not to forget Clive James as the postman.

For some reason, this book came to mind after his appearance.

Micheal Palin made a cameo in Home and Away on the beach in 1996. Way over the top but very funny.

Chris Moyles was chatting to Matt and David on his show the other week and they said they were in Australia touring with Little Britain Live, and that they were going to visit the Neighbours set whilst they were there. I assume by "visit", they mean "having a cameo role".

Somebody in a wheelchair really shouldn't be travelling such a long distance. Has he had his benefits stopped?

Just to add that Emma Bunton, Michael Parkinson, Julian Clary, Jono Coleman, Jo Whiley (and maybe some others) are going to be in the London episodes...

...which will co-incide with some dramatic stuff happening back on Ramsey Street at the same time...

spoiler:
Stringray's death and Dylan kidnapping Paul

They will air June-ish, depending on Wimbledon and Bank Holidays.

It's likely that will be the start of the BBC3 repeats/omnibus/first look or whatever they decide to do.

I hope it repeated in BBC3, as I don't often catch Neighbours in its 5:35pm.

spoiler:
It said in the paper that they're in the backgound of a scene in the coffee shop and while one buys coffee the one in the wheelchair goes on the exercise bike.

Have heard they are Lou and Andy, yet Radio1 website had a picture of Vicky Pollard with Harold and Ned on Ramsey Street.
