There is no such colour as pink (or magenta)!

Positive proof that women exist in a world of pure fantasy has been revealed!

Us men all know, for a fact, that every woman's favourite colour is pink!

However, pink doesn't exist! The colour is purely a fantasy! Young females are supposedly dressed in this colour - and get to believe that it really exists!

Yet it doesn't! See this article!

Or if you don't believe that see this other article!

Astonishing, isn't it!

I've always wanted to post something where every sentence ended with an exclamation mark!

I'm sorry but I'm absolutely disgusted. I won't have pink slandered like this. It's just plain wrong.

Are you trying to make me pink cheeked with embarrassment?

You can't succeed, as pink doesn't exist, so yaaaah!

Look at the smiley. Stare at it. Now tell me what colour you see.

Only real men can wear pink and get away with it.

Those articles are flawed beyond belief.

Two examples before I gave up reading anymore:

Yellow is the opposite coulour to blue not orange.

Magenta on your monitor is made up of Blue and Red not red and violet.

I don't think this guy knows the difference between pigment colours and light colours and the way they mix.

Yup, that's where he's gone wrong!

(And I got an exclamation mark as well!)
(Or 2!)
(Or 3!)

Not true, and that's not what the article says.

While there is no single light wave that combines the two ends of the visible spectrum, the colours that result from such a combination are still percieved as single colours.

There is no difference between magenta and white, in this respect. If you say magenta doesn't exist, then white doesn't either, because white also combines multiple wavelengths.

The definition of a colour is what you see, not what light waves travel to your eyes. So magenta, black and white are all colours.

Right. Surely everyone knows yellow is the complement of blue?

I have several 'pink' items of clothing, and I never thought that they would be so confusing to me as they are now :/
