Kym Marsh, corrie

After watching her recent scenes I now think she is one of the best actors on the street. The way she potrays all the emotions is spot on, anger, sad, happy, funny, thoughtful ect... This is truley amazing when you think she has had no real proper training.

What a shame she has to work alongside you know who, a man who has HAD training but still cant act for toffee, Sean

Yes, I can see her as a future landlady - excellent acting. Hope she gets together with Steve, they would make a good pair.

love kym and michelle-shes been a real surprise but a superb addition to the street!
def a good strong character with a lot of potential and a real candidate for landlady!
i really want her and steve to get together-such a great couple-but the writers would probably wreck even that relationship within a few months...

She started off really woodenly, but her acting has come on in leaps and bounds...I can see her, hopefully, becoming one of the stalwarts of the street, if she stays. I hope she stays..her and Steve would make a good pair in the Rovers.

I agree with you, it would be great if she got together with Steve and I think that she would make a good future landlady. I have been very impressed with her acting, she's wiping the floor with some of her fellow cast members, in my opinion.

Yeah - let Liz run off with someone and leave Steve and Michelle as landlord and landlady.

Yes she should run off with Vernon - that would kill two birds with one stone.

She will move on. Marsh has always had a great opinion of herself. She has already said that if she gets a role in Hollywood she would commute.

Personally, I think Marsh is wooden and is exactly the same character in everything she has done. Michelle might be a likeable character but my opinion of Marsh hasn't changed. I give her 2 years max.

She is a really good actress- the last few episodes have really shown that. I can see her character being around for a long time. She was really good in Hollyoaks in the City as well. She is one of my favourite characters.

She only had very small parts in those, though, didn't she?

Either way, yes, she is excellent in Coronation Street.

Hasn't she taken Jack's surname now? I do believe she is Kym Ryder.

I think most young actors/actresses all dream of going to Hollywood one day due to the money and the fame it can bring and to star in big movies. Although some are happier to stay doing soaps. I read an interview with her and she said she would be happy to stay in Corrie for a long time. However she is a brilliant actress who is capable of doing different roles so if she ever does decide to go and try over in Hollywood, I say good luck to her and hope she does well.

Yeah - Congrats Kym!

Will be a crime if she loses out to someone for the best newcomer award because someone is 'fit!!'
