I've seen these but I wouldn't buy one.

They're expensive and I don't think there's any real use for them.

A lot cheaper just to put computer print-outs in a normal photo frame?

I think the idea is mostly centered around running slideshows without having to print the pretty pictures; just have them slide show straight off your network server of memory stick.

Bought my Mum one from Amazon for Chrimbo, filled the SD card with pics and it sits on her sideboard cycling through the 250 pics one by one for 5 seconds at a time ...

Oh and she LOVES it!!
