Must be a common misconception though, the station reports in RAJAR as talkSPORT (Talk Radio)

Well, that'll have to be sorted when Talk Radio returns on DAB (if Channel 4 Radio win their bid).

From your contribution on this thread, re-read the title of this thread because it obviously applies to you

I keep falling asleep and missing the guy who comes on to talk about British Touring Cars. He'd be better of talking about German touring cars. DTM is ten times better than the BTCC.

I couldn't agree more.

Collins is terrible, IMO.

I thought his programme coudn't be any worse.

Then he fetched Chessie on with him and sure enough, his programme went down a notch.

i agree, the ian collins show with chessy is poor, which is a shame as i quite like ian collins, but the show sounds tired and predictable. i would like to see alan the touring car guy join ian, alan is a miles bettter presenter than chessy. chessy has bought the show down a number of notches. i think the response to this thread speaks for itself, if someone starts a thread about george galloway or jon gaunt or former talksport presenter charlie wolf, there are pages and pages of thread reply's generated. the ian collins show needs to do the following, drop chessy, have better quality guests and more importantly bring in some heavyweight political chat. the show often decends into meaningless farce. lightweight in the extreme. i cant help thinking though that once ian collins, and probably mike mendoza as well, once their current contracts run out, i think that mike and ian will be leaving talksport.

It's the Chessy show with Ian Collins

I don't think this show is that bad maybe making it a bit more light hearted would help. I have tuned in three times since christmas and twice they have been talking about crime and I tuned in last week and they were talking about death/mourning.
