G4 to split!!! - Music

It has been announced in today's Daily Mail they are to split so that they don't end up falling out. They wan't to leave staying friends as they are spending too much time together.

I think it is a shame. They were different and could sing very well. I was a shame they only seemed to do covers though.

NOOO! Aw, it's the standing joke in my RE class, that I am the ONLY fan of G4, and to have them split.. I'm going to have to see them in concert now. I wasn't going to get tickets, but I really see no other way of getting to see them.

I am gutted.....going to see them in May..will be very sad but glad they have being honest with their fans before the tour starts.

They're rubbish - it's basically because they ran out of covers!

Actually they weren't rubbish. They all had good voices and sang some good songs. They needed to get some original music as well as singing covers. Although I don't see anything wrong with singing covers.

The people who say they were rubbish probably don't that kind of singing.

I agree Sloopy, that Jonathan's voice sets my teeth on edge, it seemed to be getting worse too ! I shan't be sorry though, good luck to them all, I just hope Jonathan doesn't re-emerge as a solo performer, I've got a feeling he might somehow.

According to the Mail, Jonathan is going solo, and has signed to new management. My guess is that's the real reason for the split.

I am glad that G4 are splitting up. I never really liked their songs. I don't know how they got through to the X Factor final, they were the worst act!!

I really didn't like them at all so I'm not sorry to see them go, it always seemed to be covers anyway and I never saw the point in having 4 of them in the group when only 1 of them had the leads. My Mum will be disappointed no doubt but, it means I can now visit home without the required earplugs.
