H&A. What is Martha doing with Ash?? - Soaps

Sorry I don't get this Martha/Ash thing at all?

She didn't think Jack could be the husband/family man she wanted...

Jack is now playing happy families with Sam, and Martha is with Ash who is married to someone else and has lied to her....

Whats going on??

And please Channel 5 - why not just play the blinking titles?

Edit - another question. What does Martha currently do for work? I thought she was an electrican but haven't seen her work for months

I'm pretty sure that Channel Seven in Australia don't play the H & A titles either. So not playing them is a Seven decision, nothing to do with Five

I don't get it either. Plus you think she would've learned by now to trust people when they tell her whichever policeman she's dating at the moment is bad news. Wasn't her last boyfriend before Jack a psycho cop who half-killed Irene with mercury poisoning, or have I remembered that completely wrong?

Oh yes! I remember him! I reckon they could have done so much more with that story. Martha irritates the hell out of me! She hasn't thought for a second about Ash's wife and kids

No that was a different guy. Her policeman boyfriend before Jack was called Corey, he tried to kill Irene.

This is what I don't understand - all that hassle she gave Jack and all he ever did was work for their future and she thinks Ash is Mr Perfect

The way she used to mouth off at Jack for working drove me mad! She went on and on about how he wasn't committed and yet she thinks Ash is great despite the fact he's married and a compulsive liar!
She really should listen to Morag once in a while.

isn't she on the titles?? I confess I don't watch them even when they're shown which isn't often. And whats with the music?! Bring back the old theme tune I say! At least that person could sing.

I had completely forgotten about that. H&A are quite lazy with their storylines.

IIRC Martha had just broken up with Jack and she jumped head first into a relationship with Corey. Corey was also a

policeman and unbeknownst to everyone except Jack (who warned Martha repeatedly to no avail, that there was something not quite right about Corey) he was a psychopath who blamed Irene for his family's ruin.

Irene had been a juror in a trial against his father. His father was found guilty and went to Jail and his mother went mad.

Corey felt it was only fitting, that Irene lost her mind as well. So he was slowly poisoning her with Mercury. After he had succeeded in having Irene put away in the loony bin, he tried to finish her off with chocolates laced with a lethal dose of poison. He also persuaded Martha to move away with him. When Martha discovered what he was up to, Corey tried to kill her as well.

Yep, Martha has excellent judgement.

Nope, she's not on them because she isn't a consistent character!

Do you know what? I haven't got a clue!

I assume Morag only stays occassionaly as she lives 'in the city'.
Didn't Alf live in the flat that Brad's now in?

I thinking.... did he lose the flat when he was being investigated over that Josh West/council coruption thingy??

Well Alf moved in not long after Flynn died, so as he could look after her.

Then Martha split up with Jack so she became part of the package I guess! Bit rude isnt it.
