Bloody heck,we are very nosey
Dont blame you because I would want to know myself!!.
Ive had many nice forum members PM ing me asking why I asked about opening times at McDonalds so here goes.

I have a friend called Dawn Sadia who has an 8 year old daughter named Nassima,both are from Belfast,Northern Ireland..
Last April 2006 without warning,Nassimas father took Nassima to Algeria for a holiday to visit his family,something both he,Dawn and Nassima had done in the past.This time was different,Dawn couldnt go on that trip because she developed a fear of flying due to the last bad flight that she was on.
So he took Nassima for the usual 2 weeks holiday and when Dawn went to the airport to pick them up,they wasnt there.
When she got home there was an answerphone message waiting for her from Nassimas father(Dawns husband) basically saying he wasnt bringing her back home.

And that is how it has been for a year.

Dawn has so far spent £42,000 trying to bring Nassima home,she was taken to the cleaners by a firm in London,she lost the money and there was no Nassima.

So Dawn set up a website and here is the link,it tells you all about Nassima(a beautifull child) and all about the situation that she is now in.

On the website we have a "guestboard" where people very kindly leave messages of hope and support to Dawn and Nassima.
Last night there was a message from someone who thinks they may of seen Nassima and her father in McDonalds,this child was holding a Bratz doll(Nassimas favourite toy),this person also said she took a photograph of the child.
Were still trying to locate the person who sent the message,no luck so far so it maybe a cruel hoax,a sick joke if thats true.
That is why I needed to know if McDonalds was open over the Easter holidays.

Nassimas father does have family still over here so maybe he could of brought her over here to visit his family over the Easter holidays as they will be on term break in Algeria right now.

Sorry its been a long post everybody but it would of taken me till next Wednesday to answer all the PM,s,at the end of the day all Im doing is trying to bring an 8 year old child back to her mummy,where she belongs.After all,Dawn has no clue if Nassima is safe and well and its hearbreaking for the poor soul.
A few people may know about this situation because Dawn has been on the Trisha show and it has been repeated two more times.

Sadly nothings been heard of yet,Im just hoping this person has been out today with it being Easter Monday and has had no chance of getting on the computer.

I dont think Dawn can take any more cruel jokes,this has happened before and it has been a hoax,God willing it will be genuine lionsof66,I shall update if we hear anything.

Thanks hugsy,sadly there has been hoaxes before for Dawn and Im honestly not sure if this is genuine or not.
Dawn was fleeced by a firm in London who promised the safe return of Nassima.In the end she parted with £42,000(mostly money left in her fathers will who sadly passed away a few months after Nassima was taken,he had a massive heart attack and he was only 50 years old,doctors said the stress was too much for him).

To me,that was the cruelest hoax ever especially as she never recieved a penny back from them).
This is a sad story to tell hugsy but I pray every night for a happy ending to this situation.

It would be nice if this thread was kept near the top valskey,you just never know,there may be someone out there who can help Nassima get back home.

Such a heart breaking story and Dawn must feel very lost and frightened. Smiling Angel this is upsetting for you too, but I'm sure you are an enormous comfort to Dawn knowing that she has someone kind and compassionate to turn to and trust. I truly hope that as she continues to raise awareness, that it leads to a breakthrough soon.

I do believe that Dawns story will be in this months issues of either Closer magazine or Chat magazine,not sure which but it will be one or the other.

Im open to offers if anyone has any information or has any ideas on how to help Dawn,PM me is best though.

It will have a happy ending Lindy,theres hundreds of "Smiling- Angels"all over Belfast and the Uk helping Dawn out and I know that Nassimas grandad will be watching over her wherever she is.

As much as I hate Bratz dolls and would do anything to stop any daughter of mine having one, this is a desperately sad situation.

There are cruel people around who seek attention and it seems that perhaps that is when the poor mother has to contend with here.

Aww. This is all terribly sad, but I do believe you when you say that there are so many people that care about this outcome. I just wanted to say though, you be sure to take care of yourself during this too and try and pace yourself if you can, Smiling Angel. This is something that's emotionally draining for everyone and I know that you care deeply and want to keep strong to be able to be there for Dawn, but you need to watch that your health doesn't suffer. I know excatly what you mean Lindy,Im ok I just keep going,its my fella who I feel sorry for.Hes definatly taken a back seat since I became involed with Nassima.Before I would make him big roast dinners,now its beans on toast(if hes lucky)!!!Before I would iron all his shirts,now if he dosent do them himself then he goes to work full of wrinkles!!God bless him.
Hes keeping an eye out for me Lindy and when he thinks I need a break,hes the first one to tell me.
I will certainly have to make it up to him once this all ends happily ever after.

Hi bern, Did they say which Mac D's it was... i watched the programme on BBC when it was on, it was awful poor Dawn like you say it must be around this time last year when she was taken eh, i take it they still can't go in to fetch her.... There is something about passports that has been bugging me with Nass though, i applied for a renewal for my daughter last week as were going away and it had ran out in feb (every 5 years) on the passport forms it ask you to state who the mother and father is, do you think he was over here getting a renewal passport for her, or a copy of her birth certificate......... cause the old passport needs sending back, was just a thought as i filled in my girls form.........

Any parent would think of this as one of their worst nightmares.
I cannot begin to imagine the anguish this poor girls mother is going through and there is nothing I feel is good enough to say in sympathy except I wish for her dreams to come true for getting her daughter back.

The internet is a bit like a school playground at times with some cruel people around.
Hoaxes in this case are cruel, and all I can say to that is that the person who had dealt it is lower than low and if something similar happens to them one day then they will come to realise just what they have done.

Hi everyone,
Just popped on to this site and was overwhelmed about the response.Ive sent Dawn a link to your messages and I know she really appreciates all the hope you are sending to her.

Dawn is right now gearing herself up for this weekend when it will be excatly one year since this wee child was taken away,its going to be hard for her but she will be keeping busy.

On Friday morning Dawn will be on GMTV taking about her situation,I truly hope she gets through the interview without too many tears and upset.Ive told her to just remember that there wll be many people who will be watching her not having a clue about Nassima.this is a fantastic opportunity to make even more people aware of Nassima and at the end of the day,thats what we need right now.
So please watch the programme on GMTV this Friday morning and wish Dawn a good interview if you can.

There has been no news from the girl who said she had a picture of Nassima in McDonalds so Im afraid to say that it must of been a hoax.Dont stupid people realise that Dawn is going through hell as it is without this kind of upset?.There are many stupid people in this world,Ive told her to just concentrate on the possitive happenings and things will work out in the end.

Thanks for your query Shaz,the thing is Nassima and Dawn are both British citizens and both hold British passports,sadly Nassima is also on her fathers passport too,that is why it was so easy to take her out of the country.He has also taken her original birth certificate too.So he has the documentation to obtain another passport for Nassima.

On Saturday in Belfast there will be a 4 mile walk to raise funds for Nassima to get back home.Dawn is keeping very busy with that one.Im certain there will be a huge turnout and many of Nassimas wee friends will be taking part too on the day,God bless the little children.

I think for that one day alone Nassimas grandad will return to Ireland and watch the walk every step of the way,he would be so very proud indeed that Dawn is still fighting for her little girl.
