Some of the game threads are utterly pointless, I agree.
But what can you do really, life goes on here despite the morons who spoil it. I expect the mods will be along soon with a giant padlock. |

There are 4 favourite character polls going on - two of which are the finals, so hardly worth complaining. Note I said 'polls' and not 'games'.
Elimination games I have said I agree on, but most were closed by the mods a few days ago, so you're a bit late on that one. Worst Hairdo - That was a question Games are the ones with the word 'game' in the title, such as the 'TV Character game'. Clearly you have trouble distinguishing... You'll be back

I don't understand why people moan about certain threads all the time? This weekend has been especially bad, every day there seems to be a thread moaning about other threads!
It's a public forum, people can post what they want. It's what it's here for! If people don't like certain threads, fair enough, but i'm curious why it bothers you so much, the people moaning obviously don't use the threads, so why moan? The only thing you have to do is see the thread titles on the index page, whats so bad about that? We have had compalints about individual threads, long threads, ellimination games, connection games and so on. All the above threads have a right to be there, and i tend to think nonbody has a right to complain about them. There might be a thread i'm not intrested in, but i'll just ignore it, i'm not intrested in it, i won't be bothered by it's presence. I wouldn't be my place to create a thread moaning about it. It's nothing to do with me! Sorry, i don't want to appear harsh or rude, i'm honestly not trying to be like that, but i just don't understand why people take it upon themslves to pass judgment on threads. Every thread has a right to be here, you cant think otherwise just because your not intrested in the topic!

I must admit that the 'game' threads put me off. I visit the forum hoping to catch up on trivia, missed storylines, discuss current characters/storylines and a few spoilers. I do try to tap into some of the long running threads, but find them too exclusive. I realise that we are all different and thus have different views on characters/storylines, but it can all get a bit too personal at times.
That said, this is one of the better forums. Another is so strictly moderated that any off-topic message is zapped immediately which often leads to very stilted conversation! |

The games threads put a lot of people off (including me) because the likes of favourite characters threads, it's just endless replies of lists of names, with no explanations or discussions. People used to use forums to discuss and debate things, not compile meaningless lists.
