I'm glad Liz Smith was nominated. I'm sure she'll win.

I am disappointed to see Helen Mirren omitted for the last Prime Suspect. I know she's won BAFTAS for that role in the past, but I still think a nomination was in order.

Actor

John Sim - Life on Mars (although the guy who played Gene Hunt would've been my choice)

Entertainment Performance

Stephen Fry - QI

Drama

Life On Mars

Situation Comedy

The IT Crowd

Pioneer Audience Award

Life On Mars

Everything else nomintated I either disliked or didn't watch, so my votes go to the only shows I've actually seen.

If either of those televisual abortions win, we (the sane viewers) will march on BAFTA's HQ and seize control.

Excuse me why no nominations for the CSI trio+ all of the Law and Order franchises in the international section ? Entourage,My Name is Earl ? just what was the nominations committee thinking ? why are these two shows deserving of nominations and not the likes of the Simpsons,Greys Anatomy,24,NCIS and Nip/Tuck ?
i was totally baffled by the nominations in this category

How come "Ant'n'Dec" get nominated (again) for the Entertainment Performance but Gervais and Merchant get nominated separately for the Comedy award? Are they really a single lifeform?

Anyway, can't see any of them winning. Stephen Fry for the Entertainment gong and Liz Smith for the Comedy one.
