Harry enfield and chums was one of the funniest tv series a few years ago, with characters such as tim nice but dim, and a whole host of comic characters pure brilliance. And he is now back on tv willing to take risks once again with new characters.

In contrast harry hill appears to have given up on comedy,in favour of doing a tarrant. Ie a take the pi-s video show. i never have found him that funny.

But ben elton is the most unfunniest person i have ever heard. please do not bring him back

I hope the new series improves quickly. Fridays episode was dreadful. If this week's is as bad I think I'll assign it to the bin marked "Tittybangbang" filled with comedies I'd rather eat my own ear than watch again!

I quite like him doing this sort of job, better than his stand up...

"Most unfunniest"? how old are you ? 6? anyway, I'm afraid you might be disappointed, I'm sure I saw a trail for something on ITV1 with him in, sat behind a desk. I'm afraid I don't have any details, best bet would be to boycott the channel completely for a month or so just in case.

Just shows how much Get A Grip has enthused the nation then - it's already two weeks into its run.

This reminds me of one of those Viz 'whose your favourite Jeffrey Dahmer or Geoffrey Palmer' pieces.

Harry Hill all the way.Enfield hasn't been funny since he went to Sky IMO and the fact he describes himself as 'still socialist' put me off even more.As least Ben Elton admits he's a conservative-all that anti-Thatcher stuff was a case of protesting too much!

Also the sign of a man with no principles, who will say anything.is that not right mr elton.

As a socialist myself i applaud the fact harry enfield has not ditched his principles.

You are right about one thing though harry enfield has not had,a good time since going to sky.

Harry Enfield no doubt

cant stand Harry Hill, very over-rated and not in the least bit funny

For sketches Harry Enfield - notwithstanding my disappointment of the new series.
For stand-up: Harry Hill, best I've ever seen. Very different stuff to TV burp.

HE's stuff was always patchy, but you could count on the occasional inspired character - Smashie & Nicey, Self-Righteous Brothers etc. But ep 1 of the new series was dismal, so can only assume he's run out of decent characters.
HH is brilliant on TV Burp but don't particularly rate his stand up.

Beat me to it

For me, its Harry Hill - although I haven't seen much of his stand-up, TV Burp is the funniest thing to have hit our screens for a while now

Harry Hill in stand-up is one of the most engaging and funniest nights you'll have. He puts a lot of work into it, demands your attention and really enjoys what he does.

As people have already said Harry Enfield and Chums was class, but last weeks opening episode of his new show was dire.

I used to love Harry Enfield & Chums, back then I would have said Harry Enfield. But I only caught a bit of that Ruddy Hell thing during the Ugly Betty adverts and it was dire! I love Harry Hill's humour in TV Burp, so it's gotta be him!

Yes, I think Harry's a qualified doc. Has anyone ever seen a photo of him WITHOUT the large collars? I don't suppose he wears 'em at home???

They are normal collars. He just has a very small head.
