What do you take from Planes?

The hotel thread got me thinking.

I usually take the inflight magazine, some napkins, freshen up towel (un opened) and some of those plastic cups to use in the hotel when you arrive incase there are none.

I once found one of the inflight safety cards in my bag I know these are never meant to be removed, but I think it must have gotten caught up in the magazine...I felt really guilty when I saw it and thought about returning it to the airline...but never got round to it.

So what do you take from the plane?

I don't fly often as we prefer to drive but the few times I have flown there really hasn't been anything worth taking. I always take the sick bags whether on a plane or a ferry as I don't keep well and they are always handy to have.

In Flight magazine on normal package holiday flights.

Left over packs of moisturiser and toothbrushes and overnight bags and lip balm left in business class as you walk out of the plane, on longer intercontinental flights.

I do have a blanket, but that really wasn't my fault.

Edit... My son has a sick bag, but I didn't know 'til after and that wasn't my fault either.

Edit..My daughter has a pillow.

I have taken the headphones, a sachet of water (like a plastic cup with a foil lid), the magazine, pillows and eye covers which you can't seem to find anywhere else.

Why would you take a sick bag from a plane unless it was used and even then surely there's somewhere to put them?

I've never been motion sick...

The Billy Connolly joke about lifejackets on planes is priceless, "in the event of the plane plummeting towards the ground, put on the lifejacket and tell the pilot to aim for a puddle!"

I am ashamed to say.... I have a cutlery set of mini-size knife, fork and teaspoon. Quality Stainless Steel, ( this was before the post-9/11 ban on proper metal cutlery), and engraved at the back of the handles with the airline name and logo

I didn't have the nerve to steal the rather cool logo-ized little drinking glass...but I noticed it was missing from a neighbouring passenger's tray when they handed it back in...

I also collect airline menu cards and sick bags, so I always take those away with me
