Eating....yawn....Hot Weather...yawn

Been so warm here.....cant be arsed to eat and then when I do (I'm reminded constantly by OH that I should eat and not eating is bad for you etc) I wish I hadnt bothered because I feel sleepy and lethargic.

In the summer I'd be quite happy to pop a pill instead of a meal if I could.....eating is such a drag

What food is good to eat in hot weather that wont make me want to sleep?!

I hate eating, even if the weather is cold. It just always makes me ill, and uncomfortable! I try to avoid it as much as possible cos I just feel better without having food inside me, slowing me down.

I have mostly been eating crusty bread, as I never want to eat much when it's warm. I hope we don't have too long a summer, or I shall resemble a weeble by autumn.

I made a Thai Yellow Curry last night - that was bloody lovely. Not really summer food though.

I'm studying for exams at uni at the mo. So combined with the heat i'm eating barely anything, as I seem to be perma-trapped in the most boiling library ever! I've been living off coffee, Kick energy drink and those 1 pound cheese and onion sandwiches from tescos for the past week. Probably gonna have a heart attack by the end of the week!

A nice wholemeal roll with lots of sliced ham, tomato and cucumber.

I find that hot weather reduces my appetite. It doesn't take it away completely. This is most noticeable when the weather cools down in the Autumn, and the appetite strengthens considerably.

Why not? How cold do you think it gets in Thailand?

Cold meats and *interesting* salads are always nice light summer foods.
Also, make a fruit sorbet - something cold with a bit of zing in it.

Cooking and eating in the Summer is a drag - it's usually too hot to do anything!

I usually just stick to cold foods - sandwiches, salad, fruit, ice cream, etc.
