Did anyone else hear on Radio 5 Live today, they said that an ASBO kid from hell is going to be in the new Big Brother house, to kick the show off to a flying start?

Seriously they did say that (on Drive or it might have been John Pienaar for Mayo, can't remember exactly), that was the inside scoop from their showbiz correspondent. I am intrigued whether it is true though I shouldn't be surprised.

Well this would certainly be very irresponsible. A person with an ASBO, should not be allowed to be rewarded with the fame that can come out of the show. I think many would complain, as that is just low, and shows how sad big brother has become!

Hopefully it's just a rumour.

Not all chavs stand around together in street corners. Clearly you need to learn about the chauvistic culture, rather than read what the papers say or the like. There's a lot more to it!!

The new housemate will probably be a male version of Bonnie - all mouth but gutless, stupid and dull. One thing that irks me is that the term 'chav' is used too widely now. Working class people are all being classed as 'chavs' according to those rubbish documentaries on tv. In my opinion a decent hard working person is not a 'chav'. Chavs are those idiots hanging around street corners, can't be bothered to work and wearing awful tracksuits - they are certainly not individual or representative of the working class.

I have an uneasy feeling about this. Me and the Mrs loved BB, then BB7 was a difficult one, we just hoped it was a mistake. Then the recent Celeb BB added insult to injury. I can see me watching the first few episodes of BB8 and dropping out of the fan base.

I agree that some housemates are chosen for that reason, but what about Glyn, Jennie, Imogen, Mikey etc, what novelty did they bring to the show

I would feel extremely uncomfortable in the house if I was in with a chav.
