Woolworths is much better than iTunes
Just noticed this - new release CDs on iTunes have started going up to £9.99...however, chart albums on woolworths downloads are avaliable for just £5.99
which is a shame cos ive always preferred iTunes. englandrocks. |

Cheaper? Yes.
Better? No. The only experience I've had with Woolworths downloads was a waste of money. Couldn't sync the tracks to my mp3 player. |

Napster is fantastic. If you genuinely love listening to absolutely loads of different music you really can't go wrong for the cost. Napster saved my life

The best is buying the CD for 7.99 or less and ripping it yourself into whatever format/quality you like and you get a hard copy with box and artwork
![]() Paying the same for a downloaded album as a CD is a piss-take imo especially as the record companies tried justifying CD prices by pointing out duplicating, printing and distribution costs - none of which apply to downloads once the service is set up. |

Well said ShaunIOW, its easy to buy the album for £7.99. You rip it to any old format. No syncing problems with your MP3 player, its easy!
