Front Door Moved (merged)

Looking at this picture, I noticed that the front door/stairs has been moved to the other side of the house, closer to the studio. On evictions/launch night, will HMs have to walk past the stairs to meet their "fans"/paps and then turn around to get to the studio or the front door?

I can't believe nobody else noticed!

What's your view?

This has been noticed already. I'm not sure a thread was started but its definitely been discussed. At least there trying to make it look different, hopefully the inside is changed lots too.

Not sure if it's been moved. To be honest, I can't really tell what's what in that pic. The best way of leaving the house was in BB1 though, when the evictee had to walk over the bridge.

I hated that, it was too long and not dramatic. They weren't faced the boos/cheers for ages, it should be straight away-BANG IN THE FACE. lol

They should have it like on BB2 again where people get a song played as they leave the house, and I loved the bridge I thought it was very suspenseful

Maybe fireworks going off it on every eviction, like on I'm a Celebrity.

Grace had a song played during BB7.......

thats actually a very old picture, because as of BB6 there have been posts erected on the roof, to deter people from landing on it.!

The thing is, most of them don't deserve fireworks OR music. And that's way too friendly for Endemol. Big Brother is always about hatred.

Nope, the poles are still there - the white spots - so that's what they're there for then!

You can tell it's up to date - they've got the extension on the right where the celeb BB kitchen was this year.

I noticed this straight away and commented elsewhere - couldn't find anything here though but it was so obvious I assumed it had been discussed in the depths of a thread somewhere.

It's difficult to tell - it could be just scaffolding for the alterations - but it's possibly the door is actually in the same place and just the stairs have moved, meaning some sort of balcony as they come out before they reach the stairs, which would be quite cool.

However, what it really suggests though is with the stairs much nearer the studio now they are going to move the crowd from the front of the house and once again have them line the route to the studio.

Well, I hope so anyway - and I think with the problems during CBB with specifically no crowd at Jade's eviction and the studio and crowd not being connected on the final night they may finally have realised that the studio needs to be integrated into the set up once again.

I'm not going to get my hopes up and believe they'll have realised Davina should be anchoring from the studio, then running through the crowd to get the evictee - but I think they will now at least be linked better so Davina can at least bring the evictee (well, the popular evictees) back out amongst the crowd after their interviews.

Having said all that though, last year when we first saw the main studio I was so sure it was set up so the screen opened up to allow Davina out - meaning I was somewhat disapointed when they just stuck Davina at the bottom of the stairs once again in the middle of a mob who weren't particularly interested in anything she had to say!

To me it looks like the evicted housemate would come out of the front door and along a platform before reaching the stairs...

the worst exit door was BB5 - there were no stairs, no bridge, the housemates just came out of the side of the house...when they did that eviction night lost it's sense of occasion somehow.

Although I get your point and in someways agree with you, I don't think it was that bad to be honest. Although it was just a ramp, there was still a clear seperation between the crowd and evictee when they left - while with the stairs they're thrown into the mob as soon as the doors open.

I like the idea of:

- A lift in the place of the stairs now
- The stairs with the airlock
- MY PERSONAL SUGGESTION would be a long tunnel-like airlock from the middle of the house, like in BB5, that then either opens up on stage or goes under stage and then they are brought up through the stage

I think the stairs have been moved, but the door is in the same place: the housemates will go up the stairs, walk across a raised platform in front of the house before entering the door.

New Entrance/Eviction Set Up

As the stairs have been moved to the middle of the house, there will almost definitely be a new set up for entrances and evictions.

http://insidebigbrother.net/bb/image...aerialpic2.jpg

Now the crowd used to be in three main sections, 1 on each side of the walk way and 1 behind the stage. Then the housemates would walk the full length of the house and up the stairs, then down the stairs and into the studio. Now if they do the same with the new set up, it means half the crowd won't get a glimpse of the housemates, and it would be pretty quick too.

So does anyone care to speculate how they could change the eviction and entrances so as many people as possible can see the housemates, as well as making it the same time too.
