BB8 Guinea Pig Housemate Suffers From Panic Attack!

According to a report from DS, the source from Dail Star, a test-run housemate suffered from a panic attack:

Quote:
A woman who appeared in a Big Brother 8 test-run last week asked to leave the house after just a few hours.

The guinea pig housemate, who was one of a number of stand-by contestants put into the house, suffered a panic attack and told producers that she couldn't stay.

An insider told the Daily Star Sunday: "She clearly didn't like the experience of being locked up in the house. It seemed to get to her - it's a good job she's not been chosen for the final line-up.

"It doesn't bode well for anyone who does end up in there - it must be terrifying."

I wonder why the two stories in DS news at the moment are both Daily Star ones. As far as I recall the "paper of choice" here was the Sun - who can forget that annoying banner up there last season.

Hope this doesn't mean we are going to be "sponsored" by the Daily Star here?

*places order for mountain of salt to be delivered by May 30th/June 1st*

It also casts doubt on the suitability of the selection process if they've chosen someone who can't cope with being cooped up for a day.

If the story is to be believed that is.....

Well, doesn't this show that the producers aren't looking unstable people?

I wouldn't go so far as to say "unstable". I'm relatively stable until I go into a WH Smiths and then I get horribly chlaustrophobic. Something to do with the low ceilings. Doesn't mean I'm unstable though - or does it?

It does seem odd though that having fought tooth and claw to get in, they only lasted a couple of hours. Perhaps they didn't fight tooth and claw and were a "shoe-in"....

If it happened at all that is!

From my very dodgy memory didn't someone have to have medical treatment for a panic attack...

Edit to add - Shell - about a food fight?

Here is some info about past test runs:

Tashi from Britain's Next Top Model was in the test-run for BB4
Becki and Sezer were in the test-run for BB5
Chantelle, Imogen and Science were in the test-run for BB6

Tashi would have been a perfect housemate, especially for Big Brother 4, certainly would have livened it up a bit.

But Science was in BB6 so was he a guinea pig that turned into a hamster?

Someone dropped out at the last minute, I think, so he was called up shortly before the series started.
