Corrie ~ Sunday May 20th

Sunday 20 May 2007 7:30pm - 8:00pm on ITV1.

Claire (Julia Haworth) is left unconcious at the bottom of her stairs, overhelmed by the fire's smoke. Roy (David Neilson) calls the fire brigade from the street as the blaze rages out of control. As a crowd gathers, Jamie (Rupert Hill) and Kirk (Andrew Whyment) kick the Peacocks' door down and drag Claire from the house. With Claire safe, Jamie goes back into the house with Roy and Jerry (Michael Starke) to try and rescue Freddie but to no avail. The fire fighters then arrive and put out the blaze but will they reach Freddie in time? The whole street is in shock as Claire is taken to hospital and the neighbours desperately try to contact Ashley. Will Freddie survive the blaze?

Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) visits Ken (William Roache) at Denise's home. She tells him the fire has made her see how important Ken is to her. But Ken feels like their relationship is over and that Daniel can be a new start for him. As Ken lets her leave, determined to put his relationship with Daniel first, how will Deirdre react to his new found determination?

Elsewhere, Derek (David Hounslow) and Liz (Beverley Callard) continue their affair at Derek's secret flat.

Liam (Rob-James Collier) asks Leanne (Jane Danson) if Paul (Sean Gallagher) knew about her losing her job and that's why he doesn't like her. But is he satisfied with her answers?

This episode was written by Jonathan Harvey, produced by Steve Frost
and directed by Mike Adams.

Yeah it should be really looking forward to it. Kirk and Jamie seem an unlikely duo, it's great to see everyone working together to help people out.

I love episodes of soaps when everyone's involved...it makes them more dramatic...like when Tracy killed Charlie

Hello. I've missed a number of episodes of Corrie, does anyone know if they are repeated and, if so, when and what channel?

Final screening of the Corrie omnibus at 1.40 am Monday morning ITV2 (2.40 am ITV2 +1) so you've got 6 hrs to prepare...

According to Inside Soap they've reshot scenes because they were worried that the storyline they were going to run would upset the McCann family.

That's what I heard (which I also thought was ridiculous) but the story was that Freddie has been abducted wasn't it? So what happens now? He is just rescued from the fire? Makes the whole thing a bit pointless.
