BB8- A Class Divide?

Im sorry if this has been posted before, but I can't find any other threads on this subject. Accoring to ITV Teletext, Endemol want this series to have a 'class divide', and as a result they have selected HM's from opposing social groups. So Assumably there will be some posh, snooty, upper middle class public school types on one side and on the other lower middle class/working class/chavs

It also says that C4 have rejected some HM's that were selected because they are concerned and want to play it safe after CBB5.

I really don't want them to go with the divide. We have had a race divide with BB6 and CBB5, a class one could get just as nasty.

The working class can kiss my ass
I'm in the BB House at last..............

I like the idea of a class divide..........'they' like to pretend that it doesn't exist any more in politics & society etc..........

Let's see some red raw class antagonism.............

If there is a class divide, then up the workers all the way!

Only if they have a death wish.

Fun, not conflict is what they need, and that's what Davina, Dermot and the exec producer have said we are going to get.

So ITV Teletext can just go away and make up some other silly stories about their commercial rivals.

Why is it just ITV Teletext? It is the teletext belonging to ITV and Channel 4 so the exact story could be brought on on Channel 4. Would that make it more reliable?

I'm all for a fun BB but a sedated one?

People are still going to argue as that's life. Look at BB2, that was fun but even they went into meltdown a couple of times.

Teletext can only know what someone at Endemol tells them.

And Endemol have been very tight with security this year. Even had the Mirror and Radio 1 giving out the wrong launch date as if it was official, and the Sun's countdown clock being 24 hours out too.

I thought CBB5 was a class divide. Why don't they just let people get on with it without trying to create a divide? If they picked interesting characters there would be no need for artificially induced conflict.

I dunno - sometimes they don't push it enough on their own.

Every House Jade's in is a class divide. She's clearly in a class of her own.
