My Day At The British Soap Awards Red Carpet- 2007

I woke up at 8.30 with a sense of excitement. I called my mate Melissa for a third time that morning just to confirm she was still going. I met up with her at around 9.30am and we set on our way. Two train rides, Three tube rides and Two buses later at around 12.30 we were outside the BBC Studio Audience entrance- For the start of a long, but exciting wait. We started speaking to an elder lady who was excited about meeting Lacey Turner and Charlie Clements- She was besotted with them! We talked to two young girls- who's names I have forgotten already- and we were waiting to go inside.
After a gruelling 3 and a bit hour wait, We were slowly let in. We had to have a secruity check- Which was quite weird- and then we were on our way to the 'purple' carpet. Me and my friend Melissa made our way to front of the barrier but were quickly pushed back a bit. We waited for a while and the first to arrive in the purple carpet was Sarah Jayne Dunn, who incenditelly was the first person to sign my autograph book. She looked sensational and she had a little chat with my mate Mellisa. After a while more Hollyoaks stars arrived, the most gorgeous looking of them Loui Batley. Hannah Tointon was ever so friendly and took her time to sign everyones books, and let us take pictures of her. I got a lovely picture of her with Chris Fountain (I hope it comes out alright when I get them developed). I also took pictures of Sarah Dunn, Jamie Lomas and Jessica Fox. Garnon Davies (Elliott) arrived- and I was stunned at how gorgeous he was in real life- He let me take a couple of pictures of him and I told him he had a cute accent. He just blushed. I had a little chat with Tom Vaughn and he told me he was staying at Hollyoaks for a while yet. The next soapstars I spotted were Jenna Louise Coleman, Charley Webb and Lucy Parteger, The latter of which was wearing a sexy revealing purple dress- Charley seemed a bit unhappy but still signed autographs. Matt Milburn (Formelly Joe in Hollyoaks) seemed stuck up. I took pictures of the lovely Gemma Bissix, Matt Littler and Lacey Turner, who was looking sensational. I also had a little chat with little Jamie who plays Jay in EastEnders and he spoke exactly just like Jay does! Madeline Duggen (Lauren) was ever so friendly and told Melissa that she was pretty.
Jake Wood signed my book and he smelt gorgeous- He looked very close to Jo Joyner. Oh and why were on that note- is Claire Cooper (Jacqui in Hollyoaks) dating Kevin Sacre- I could have sworn I caught them kissing.

Tell me all about what all the EastEnders actors were like? Why was Angela Wynter so amazing? I've heard she's bald in real life - is that true? Did she wear her turban thing?

i went yesterday i had the best time ever i was at the end of the stand but i could see behind the stand to (if u get me) and russ from hollyoaks tried to climb over me while sonny from hollyoaks was signing my book.... then josh from hollyoaks came over and tried to climb over me so i got his autograph and he asked me to hold his beer for him lol i was tempted to drink some but i never lol..... then i felt a tap on my shoulder and it was john paul from hollyoaks and eli from emmerdale lol tryin to climb over me lol so i got eli's autograph while he was smoking and had my pic done wiv john paul he smelt so nice!!!!!!!!!!! lol even tho it rained it was a really good day!!!

I got alot of autographs and pics of most of the hollyoaks cast, should I upload my pictures?

I was there too! Got there about quarter to 10 so it was a long wait but my God was it worth it! Everyone was so lovely- met pretty much all the HO cast and most of the EE cast- I don't watch Emmerdale, Corrie or Doctors so although I knew who a lot of them were I didn't get any autographs or pics of them. My camera battery was also low so I had to stop taking pics half way through the HO cast coming through so I had enough for the EE cast.

The HO cast were all lovely, Gemma Bissix (Clare) was asking us how long we'd been there and couldn't believe it when we told her. The McQueen girls were all lovely too. Funniest thing was when James Sutton was near us and he goes "Everyone wants my autograph!" so I piped up "That's cos you're a legend!" and he looked at me as if to say "What on earth are you on about!" haha!

Little Ellis Hollins (Tom) was adorable and when he came over to us I told him he looked very smart and he went all shy

Anyway most of the HO cast had come through when I spotted James Alexandrou, closely followed by Rob Kazinsky!! Then I saw this ginger hair and I just went "OMG it's Charlie!!!!"- the one person I was dying to meet haha. So they were all walking along signing stuff and eventually Charlie got to me- my God he was gorgeous in the flesh! I asked him if I could have a picture with him and I did but I was so crushed that I couldn't stretch my arm out far enough with the camera so it's not come out well- gutted. Anyway I then got my book signed and Rob Kazinsky was next- he winked at me when he handed my book back to me. Charlie was still stood near so I told him that he'd made me want to hug him in Friday's episode and he went "Aaaaw thank you" and then blushed! Someone asked him when Bradley was getting back with Stacey but he wouldn't tell us

Then they moved on and suddenly Lacey was down the other end of our barrier so as she got up to us I asked her for a picture but again had the same problem as with Charlie and it didn't come out well haha. Didn't get chance to get her autograph as she had to move on.

I got various pictures and autographs from the rest of the EE cast as they came through. I asked Charlie Hawkins (Darren Miller) what his latest scam was and he said "Taking this suit back!" The Brannings then arrived and they were all lovely. Someone told Jake Wood (Max) he should have chosen Stacey and he laughed. The two girls were absolutely lovely, as was Jo Joyner.

I had a fantastic day (got the bruised ribs to prove it). There's so much more I could go on about but I think I've written enough already lol!
