Take Away Lesley, Tracey & Carole

And ALL the others could be interchangeable!

(With the possible exception of Laura. ) WHY every year do we seem to get a gaggle of 18 - 23 year old bimbette and bimboy (and not even any of those so far.) Are these children supposed to be INTERESTING?!?!?!?

It needs older, more mature people in with life experience and richer, more developed personalities. This is why Celeb BB is SO much more watchable - not full of 'kiddies' who squeal and squalk and get on your wick.

BB needs more discussion with more mature people with personality and depth of character (eg Sandy, Ahmed, Tickle, Eugene).

Sigh ... oh well :-(

The three people implicated in the thread title are the best three in there as far as I can see for sure.

I am holding fire on who I support for a couple of weeks, as last year I backed Aisleyne on first impressions.

I generally agree with your theme here, but I would caution about the sweeping generalisation that the younger HM's and bimbos/bimbettes and the older HM's are mature, intellectual sophisticates. Jackie from CBB4 certainly proved that is not the case!
A wider age range would be ideal, IMO

That's not exactly what I said. However, you CAN already see the 'clothes, money, handbags and shoes' shower all flocking together.

All I'm saying is that many of the more mature contestents in the past have been more rounded, interesting characters. Or let's say, more interestig / entertaining to watch. (Derek for example.) No a favourite of mine, but always very watchable.

I am sorry but Sandy Ahmed Eugene (never saw Tickle) where so utterly boring although I do admit there are too many bimbettes

The top post was suggesting that they're the only people with some originality !

This is one of the posts of the night. I agree with every word. I want to see characters, not the characterless rabble who are so unoriginal that they're practically the same, awful person..

Remember, it's a competition and a competition brings out characteristics that even they wouldn't have known they had.

I agree with the OP. Too many young bimbos in there. Where's the interesting conversations? Where are the discussions about subjects other than shoes, clothes, boys and clubs? Can't see us getting anything worth listening to out of this lot. Apart from Carole, Laura, Tracey and Lesley, of course.

I agree there is a distinct tendency towards young bimboism, but that doesn't mean to say that we will not get any decent younger HM's. I think Derek Laud was one of the most entertaining HM's there has been, and I have already posted on here that Lesley could well be the most interesting HM ever - given a chance.

Good points...though perhaps Shabnam has something to her, and Laura...even though one loves cigarettes, and the other hates smoking...at least they had an opinion.

You make some obvious primary observations but people change and people change a lot. There are some people in there who will dominate and some who will be dominated.

This will change them. These are kids, they won't think before reacting so if anyone is pushed, it will change the dynamic and things will explode.

You seem to be bit biased against attractive women. All the women you've flagged as interesting are the unattractive ones. I'd agree that the twins fit the bimbo bill, but give them and the others a chance. Are you sure you can't find anything interesting in the attractive ones? You seem to be judging entirely on appearance.

I think there's a balance to be had, if we had a house full of old and uglies they wouldn't get the ratings, no matter how interesting they turn out to be.

Personally I'm not entirely convinced the people you've mentioned will turn out to be all that interesting anyway. Tracey, in particular, started to grate on me before she even entered the house. She seemed fun and interesting from her video, but her "Come on! Bring it! Mad fer it!" (or whatever she was saying) stuff and entrance milking. I think she'll become tedious rapidly if she continues like that.

I think it's a balance some of us (including the OP) are looking for. It's not balanced, it's 75% under 25s. But it's not just about age, it's the fact they are all similar characters. You can tell just by the clothes they wear, their makeup and hair etc... they are like clones of eachother, no individuality, all from the same pod.

2 or 3 clothes/money/handbags would be enough for any audience surely!?

Obviously it's a bit early to say, but is it not more entertaining to watch interesting, intelligent people? Or at least ones that are funny?

Yeah, I'd agree with the whole interchangable thing, for now at least. Obviously the younger girls need some time to open up a little and show us what they're really like, but it does seem that many of them might have been taken from the same stock and given a little streak of character each.

Still, I do think there's enough variety in there right now. Carole (who for some reason I keep calling Pat) and Tracey are both strong characters, and I'm liking how Tracey instantly throwing herself into the mix just for the sake of blending in.

Not so sure on that Lesley; don't know whether she's being the way she is because of a culture shock, or we're seeing the polite beginnings of a snob attack.

Laura seems pretty individual though, and that Nicky seems a little more mature then the rest; a nice solid female personality much like Kate in BB3 I think.

I think there's enough of a mix in there for a little while (at least 'til Friday anyway, lol).

Tracey, Carole, Laura and Nikki are probably my favourites at the momet, but if I have to see Carole fiddling with her knicker/shorts for much longer I might be sick, lol. She looks like she's trying to fan herself down, down there. God help her come July...we might even catch a glimpse of something grey and hairy, lol.
