Sky.com 're-design' & new improved My Sky

What do people think of the 'new' design on sky.com?

Also, has anyone tried the newly improved 'My Sky' yet? (it's been upgraded so you can view your bill, setup a Direct Debit, pay your bill etc with effect of 01 June)

It's about bloody time! Sky have been so behind with Customer Services online, I mean 4 years and you still couldn't pay/view your bill online till now.

Agreed! - Now that they have clearly positioned their interest in broadband / internet (acquisition of Easynet and 365media, launch of Sky BB etc) maybe they now have a clue as to what people want from the website.. either that or it's just a remarkable coincidence

Customer Services are promoting the new sky.com features quite heavily atm, so hopefully it'll not only be good for customers, but good for CS staff too (reduction in call volume etc).

The statement will only be updated if there's a change in your monthly payment, i.e. box office or sky talk. if there's no change to the payments you won't see a monthly statement.

So in the My Sky bit...if I clicked on upgrade would I be able to change my channel package? (I didn't want to click on it just to be safe!)

Yes it was very overdue and there appear to still be a few teething problems regarding the service.

It actually looks as though sky are making an investment to get things sorted out. Hopefully they will get everything smooth running before launching any new services.

You still can't change your MIXES... You can add more MIXES, but you can't downgrade or swap the Kids MIX for say the Music one.

Not in an automated manner, no - but you can always email via www.sky.com/contact and Customer Relations will make the change

Yeeeaaa!! At last! This is one side of Sky that had REALLY annoyed me!! I've had so many problems trying to sort out payments and trying to get some idea of what's going on from a gentleman in Mumbai!!! All I ever wanted was to see my account online.

(I too could not get a paper statemtent after asking several times, after a change in payments. Also couldl't see changes since June 2006 on "Interactive") Now we have a step in the right direction

Call (0800) 587 5707, pop in your viewing card number, and it should trigger paper statements.

Failing that, a call / email to Sky CS will get the job done
