Live Show experience from last night

I thought i would give a little write up from last night's eviction, as I was there.

We got there at around 4.30ish and the queue was the longest I've ever been in (I've been 4 times now). I had priority tickets this time, so I knew I'd be ok getting in.

The weather wasnt too bad, it only rained for a very short time once, so it was lucky it wasnt chucking it down!

The people from Applause Store came around at just after 6pm to check the tickets and so when they checked mine, we got sent straight up to the front of the queue. Usual procedure took place by being searched and then there was the loooooong wait up by the house. Some producers were walking up and down the queue picking out people to go onto BBLB and be in the studio when the evictee gets interviewed. Whilst in the queue, there were a lot of banners and people supporting Tracey.

We eventually got let into the compound at around 7.45ish. As usual, there were people who were further back than us running around and pushing in, whcih made me want to trip them up!!! We decided to go round the back of the stage next to the steps and the big screen just above us. I wasnt too happy with this spot at first because I'm quite short and could only really see the stage and screen/door behind me. I had to go on tiptoes to see the new hm's arriving. Luckily this was a good space because where we originally were going to go, the photographers stood in front so I wouldn't have got a good view being short!!

It actually turned out to be quite a good spot because we were right next to the stairs, so had a good view of the hm's. We were also spotted on TV loads so it was a good place to stand if you want to be seen! I was wearing a bright blue vest top and fingerless B&W striped gloves - you might have seen me!!

From the moment we all got into the compound (which seems a lot smaller than last year), there was continuous 'Get Charley Out' chants. There was also a lot of support for Tracey with people shouting 'Av it!'

Davina came out at around 8.10pm, chatted to the crowd for a bit, talked about her Jimmy Choo's then did the live link for the show. She told us a bit about the new housemates and there was someone there for everyone.

Then the show started!! When the new hm's came in, there was a lot of booing for Billy and Jonathan. Watching it back this morning, you couldn't really hear it - but it was loud!! I managed to sneak a picture of Billy:

http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j5...s/DSC00859.jpg

But the mean security guard told me off, which I was a bit narked about because the times I've been there, I've never been told off!! The girl behind me actually had the threat of being kicked out of the compound for talking on her phone whilst the highlights were being shown. I think the guard was being a bit of a meanie!!!

Liam got a very good response from the crowd, as did Brian. The look on Brian's face when hearing the Charley chants was priceless! Everyone laughed when he said 'Who the f*** is Charley?'

I forgot to also mention that I got one of Davina's cards - woop!

The break in between the two shows felt really long. We were told not to shout Get Charley Out whilst Davina was announcing the results, because it would change the dynamics of the house. It made sense because people dont like Charley for talking about herself and being so far up her own backside, but by letting her hear that the crowds dont like her would've encouraged her to talk about it all night. i'm assuming the new hm's would've told her anyway, but it made sense to keep quiet.

Shabnam's eviction felt like it took ages!! The crowd started shouting 'Out Out Out' when she was standing in the lobby part of the house. And of course, everyone burst into laughter when the camera showed her bum! Her actual exit was funny really. A lot of the crowd were booing her and calling her names for not having much underwear on, but I thought it was really funny. She was just having fun - I managed to sneak a couple of pics:

http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j5...s/DSC00861.jpg

http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j5...s/DSC00860.jpg

When Shabnam finally came down the stairs, all we could see was her bum!! When watching it back this morning, I could see myself covering my eyes! One of the photographers I think got a picture of her bum when she was with the crowd opposite. She then went into the studio and if there were a lot of adverts in between (koz that also felt like ages!) it was because they couldnt find a place to hook up the microphone pack on Shabnam. They then had a technical hitch with it but eventually, they got it working.

We only stayed for a little bit of the interview, mainly because we were hungry and wanted to beat the queue for the toilet in Tesco!!!

All in all, I think that was the best eviction I went to. If anyone else was there and I've missed out on things, please feel free to add!!

Hope I havent bored you too much!!

Thanks for the write up sounds like you had a very good time. Also puts to rest the conspiracy theories about the lack of chants regarding Charley.

Thanks for posting that. Are people with non-priority tickets not guaranteed to get in then? Or will they just get a crap view?

A fascinating and well-written report.

Thanks for that from some-one who for distance and health reasons will not be able to benefit (or otherwise) from attending a live BB event.

Please post in the future if you attend again and I hope your thread encourages others who attend the live events to post about their experiences. I am sure that many, many people have found this interesting.

"A lot of the crowd were booing her and calling her names".

Some of the people who go to BB evictions really are strange. They seem to live for hurling abuse at someone they have never met.

I'd love to know what sort of thrill they get from it. Do they go home and feel fulfilled?

Thanks for sharing that - sounds like you had a brilliant night, I would love to go to an eviction, and last night has to have been one of the funniest evictions ever!

What did you mean by getting Davina's card?

Yeah your right there. A bunch of baying animals seem to be amongst the crowds these days. The same as "Britons got Tallent".

I completely agree. I didnt see the point of the crowd booing the new people going in based on their VT. I got really annoyed with a girl behind me who thought it was funny calling Shabnam a 's**g' and saying she had no knickers on. She was probably wearing a thong but just because her skirt was too short doesnt mean she's a slag.

I always try and post a review from a live eviction because I love reading them myself from people who have been there when I havent.

I think what most people find surreal about being there is how small the compound is. I always find it weird (and it make me go a bit funny) watching the hm's go in or coming up the stairs on their way out on the screen knowing that they are just behind that door. Everytime I cannot get my head around it and I can even feel the sensation when watching it on the TV.

I was lucky enough to go up last week - obviously not an eviction but did see the 2 new housemates go in.

We had priority passes and were asked to go in early as part of the BBLB outside croud, initially we refused as they told us we wouldn't get a good view of the main show which we wanted.

We were then told that they had a 'pen' set aside right next to the stage for those who agreed to go onto BBLB, so it had to be done!!

We met Dermot who was fabulous and he kissed me twice!! We were on TV, my neice was asked who she wanted to see go in and she said you Dermot - he said she frightened him.

We were then led down the walkway where the housemates go and were given a place right next to the stage. Davina was great, as the weather was fab she spent most of the time sat on the steps watching the action with us.

Hoping we get more priority tickets!!

It's great fun really, even though we travelled up from Wales.
