Charley said early this morning to Brain in the garden tht she thought either Seany or his partner in crime had taken the hairstraightners as they both loved to play pranks and wind people up. It was very mean spirited of Laura not to own up .It seems to me that she was deliberately trying to provoke Charley into losing her temper after Charley tried so hard to remain calm.

It has not been proved that Laura hid the straighteners. Charley accused her of doing it because they were found in the bathroom after Laura had her shower this morning, then Carole later made the same assumption (for some reason she seems to back Charley up on everything) Several other HMs had also showered and been in the bathroom as well, it could have been anyone, even Charley herself if she found them in her stuff this morning and was too embarassed to say.

My God theres so much misinformation on this forum -

Carole did not imply that Laura was involved, she said

- The previous night the bathroom had been searched and she was sure the straighteners weren't there
- She said that she had no doubt that someone had taken them and then put them back
- She questioned whether the motive was to wind up Charley or to be first to use the straighteners the next day.
- She did not imply that Laura was responsble.
