EXTRACT FROM CHARLEY HEARS WORDS OF WISDOM

Later, Jonathan joked with Charley about her tendency to start arguments over the smallest of things and, doing a Winston Churchill impression, said: "I will fight them on the beaches, I will fight them on a banana."

I thought this incident happened whilst the new HM's were supposed to be "in hiding"? Or am I wrong.

You're not wrong. But I refuse to believe this fella would really be completely out of contact with the world, when he has a business to run.

There is anothe thread somewhere mentioning a few other things the new HMs have said, indicating that they may have watched this show before going in.

I think someone may have told him about the argument with the bananas, but the other things he couldn't have known unless he was watching.

Could there be the faintest possibility that someone might have actually told him about it since he entered the house?

There is another thread saying he got sent home and wasn't going into the house and then on 2 days notice got the call to go in.

Another idea is that though we have the live stream, the camara may be on the crowd in the garden say while another few hm's could be elsewhere and he could have been told by any one of them. Does that make sense

Well also Dermots slip up on BBLB earlier leads me to believe they havent been in hiding or if they have then they have still had access to information on the house.

Carole was telling him about it (last night maybe). She was telling him about Charley and Shabnam then making up so quickly in the garden afterwards.

Jonathan is the one who I don't think was in hiding, I think he is a replacement for Lesley, unlike the others being planned.

They were in the kitchen at the time and he also mentioned some thing else like "we will fight them over the beans"

At the time I thought he was talking to Laura because afterwards Laura said "oh I know all about fruit"
