Charley did not fail task as it was not a task

Charley preferrred con=sidering the weather conditions to not be subjected to the lone expericence with Brian in a small caravan. Well done Charley and Brian for sleeping in that place.

I don't understand....Was it a task or reward, because some people are saying it's one thing and then other people are saying it's another....

It seems first it was a reward: http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/n...ry.jsp?id=8121

But then somehow turned into a task overnight? http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/n...d=8341#mpuJump

Not having watched any of this I'm totally confused ...

Why would you have a task for winning something? When it started it was a reward:

How can you if a reward is a reward it is not a task therefore you cannot fail it.

The reward hadno stipulated time and bb said that they would decide when to finish it.

sorry but there were some rules involved and she failed it. Amanda didn't have any rules but she didn't need to if she bought the wrong stuff and HMs would have been angry.

Brian and Charley slept the night in the caravan. It was a reward ror winning the Knees contest. It therefore cannot be a task.

Extract from the rules that she broke:

"No housemates can come within the white picket fence area." She further read that Big Brother would provide them with packed lunches every day and that in order to get in contact with Big Brother they would have to use the phone."I hate caravanning," Brian complained. Charley assured him: "We're going to have a laugh."

Was it a reward or a task?

Anyway you can't 'fail' a reward. If the 'so called' reward had conditions attached to it then she was penalised for breaking those conditions by having the reward taken away.

To tell the truth I wouldn't have wanted a crappy 'reward' like that, either.

Obviously, the reward was for Charley's white half and the task and subsequent fail was for Charley's black half. Don't you see? It's because Big Brother is racialist and I'm writing to Ofcom, CRE, BBC and NASA!!!11

But in the second link I provided it says "... Charley was not a happy camper this afternoon, when Big Brother informed her that she'd failed the caravan task by breaking the rules. .."

Are BB making it up as they go along? It started off as a reward!

"As traditional as kiss-me-quick hats and wet afternoons in Southport, knobbly knees are a staple part of Britishness and should not go unrewarded. So having been crowned with most knobbly knees in the House, Charley and Brian have received a special treat - a holiday!"

I wish they'd make their minds up.

Amanda was allocated a certain amount of time to do the shopping list, so if she failed to do it in that time then she would have also failed a "reward".

For Gawds sake don't encourage them further! There's already talk of a revolution elsewhere among the 'Charleyites' on this forum if BB don't cede to their demands that Charley and Brian be immune from noms this week.
