Muslim while Flying (Hilarious, a different view of Muslims)

Salaam

A couple days ago those crazy lunatics (you see i didnt say muslim) burnt those flags, and i've seen that thread, you know what i'll give you a different view.

Now Baba ali is hilarious. He's a convert and starting to become with Muslims.

So please have a look and discuss and tell me what you think. Thankyou

Wasalaam

I wouldn't bother - some of them are very nasty.

edit - actually, whilst we're on the subject of leaders making themselves look silly,

ladies and gentlemen, I present to you your next Prime Minister:

I have a problem with you tube, im on my sisters laptop, and we've got a router, on both the computer and laptop, you tube doesnt work properly. It only goes quarter way. Whats wrong?

This Baba guys has some more clips, i'll see some other ones and post.

Taking your advice, and not posting nasty comments. People can check them out when they check the clips.

Usually when you put Muslim in the thread title, its really popular, is it because this ones popular

Salaam Massagatae,

Thanks for posting the link. I thought it was very funny and well done.

The comments you referred to really only show the writers for what they are, silly, ill-informed bigots. I wouldn't give them another moment's thought.

Thanks again for the link.

Alhamdulilah!

Very good stuff

On a forum where things can get a little somber and serious when talking about Islam and Muslims, it's brilliant to see some relief for a change

I was reading that the Sunnis and Shias co-exist peacefully in most countries, except Iraq where Saddam really played on the divisions to keep himself in power.

Do Muslims in the UK differentiate between other on the same basis?

I'd never marry a Shia, well im engaged but if i wasn't i wouldn't.

Its not an issue and definately wasn't one before Iraq, Iraq has brought out the tension.

Its similar to the Protestant, Catholic thing. I dont like the self mutilation (i dont if thats the right word, when they hit themselves) or the Ya Ali that the say OR the things that they say about the other Caliphs e.t.c

But i wouldn't go as far as calling all Shias non-muslim, just some

Being Shia Muslim and effectively 2nd generation (although I was born in Iraq), as I was growing up I always had a feeling that there was a division between Sunni and Shia - and that it wasn't always a good relationship.

But as an adult I've met quite many Sunnis and can count on several as friends. On a personal basis and in this country, things seem fine generally - but when you scale things up there tend to be some marked differences.

Hmm.

Well I can't say I share your view in terms of my view of Sunnis.

And......er.....Shia Muslims are most certainly Muslims.

I cannot believe the mentality of some of the comments on there. Talk about childish immature pricks!

I think that dude has it spot on. I'm a white non-muslim, but I've never understood why islam is being portrayed the way it is. Of course there are a few nutjobs who kill people 'in the name of allah', but I very much doubt Allah will be too impressed with them should they make it up to (Sorry, what's the muslim word for heaven?)

It's a shame that the press and some idiotic people of the western world look upon muslims as such evil people.....it's a bit like saying all Irish people are IRA bombers. Oh, but we can't say that....because they come from Britain and they are white. (That's just the way I see it anyway)

ps - what did that guy say in Farsi? (I think it was farsi anyway)

Speaking of humour, I was watching a program with Sir Trevor McDonald and Marcus Brigstocke.

They were talking about Salman Rushdie and the whole honours affair.

One of the guests on the show mentioned Salman Rushdie's fatwa issued by Iran meant he had to stay in hotels living a life of luxury.

The guest said he wanted a fatwa issued on him if that's what he could get! He'd write a book and see what impact it would have - he would call it "Allah, The Qur'an and yo momma".

I have to say I burst out laughing

Seemed like quite a good program.

Watched about 1 minute and got a bit bored.. What's hilarious about this guy?

I already realise any Muslim using Islam to support terrorism is probably twisting it.. So I don't really think he's talking about that much.

And now he's talking about how most middle eastern people are likely to get searched alot.. And comical T-Shirts/jokes/being misunderstood/arguing in a foreign language.. Although I think these actions apply to everyone.. I mean, I could wear a T-Shirt saying "that ticking is not my clock.." and I'd get stopped even though I'm not Muslim. Or if I go up to an airline representative and make a joke about carrying a bomb, I don't think I'd be treated any differently than a Muslim. So I don't see the point to this video.
