Kirsty and Phil, our Sloaney property heroes are back. They're in the fab city of Glasgow, and both couples look absolutely VILE.

I used to love Locationx3, but I think it's starting to look dated now.
I have a suspicion that the property boom years will soon be over, and this will be seen as a relic of the age. Anyway, this week's buyers are irritating and it's hard to have any sympathy for them. |

I had thought of this myself. It's interesting to think that the property/renovation craze could soon be over, taking a whole genre (including whole TV channels) with it... The buyers are HIDEOUS. I hope they lose out in the crash... By the way - your user name oozes class! |

Oh, that tatty, vile Cheshire couple. Ostentatious in the extreme as they can't cope with wealth without displaying it in the most tasteless way possible!
Now, if I had money... I would NEVER do that (honest)! Seriously, what a nasty, tatty house they chose.

Adam, with the sly eyes got his property, too. Let's hope for a property crash, just affecting our two couples...

So they picked a home on their own which was way over the budget that they gave the presenters. What t***s. If they got a fee for appearing on the programme I would have asked for it back.

The Cheshire couple were awful, I especially hated how they just said their friends had told them some things about the area and it put them off, without actually specifying anything. I know people who live in Crookston and there's nothing wrong with it! I was shocked by their attitude, especially when they said no to a house because some of the gardens nearby didn't reach their own standards - they were so upset that the wife had a bit of a cry. How ludicrous.
The other couple weren't much better, that guy was an idiot frankly. |

I do feel for Kirsty (hottie!) and Phil. Their couples/families are never happy. "Oh the road has a B in the name.. next". You'd have thought after so many seasons of this show Kirsty would be more comfortable about her weight, but then it's nice to see someone refuse to change for the cameras.

Oooo I so pleased it's back mainly due to be getting my Phil quota every Wednesday
I absolutely hated the chseshire couple - I think it was lucky they filmed Phil talking about them at the end, I don't think Kirstie would have been so calm. And that leopard skin jacket - yukkkkk The other couple I warmed to - he listened in the end to what P&K were saying. |

I wish Kirsty would stop having a dig at the Scottish system for buying/selling houses! At least its legal a helluva lot quicker and you can't be gazumped.
Having said all that, this is one of my favourite programmes

Good to see Kirsty and Phil back.
Where the hell did that Cheshire couple get their money from? Only one of them was working. Same applies with the 23 year old fella .. I must be living in a complete different universe. Anyways .. Kirsty is so hot, I love curvy brunettes.

I've not seen tonight's episode yet (I recorded it on Sky+) but has it now adopted the Property Ladder format of featuring two lots of people?
I'm sure LLL used to be a half-hour show whilst Relocation Relocation was always an hour. |

It's always the human drama of LLL that I find entertaining. I was fascinated by the dynamic of the relationship between Adam and his girlfriend. He was buying the house, and she was going to "live there and contribute to the mortgage." But they weren't buying it jointly. If they had been, they could have had a larger mortgage, presumably? And when Phil said "I can't understand why you'd want a lodger in your first love nest" he (Adam) seemed to squirm a little, as if he didn't feel comfortable seeing it as a love nest. I felt there was a whole separate programme to be made about just how committed Adam was to the relationship now that he'd had years of support through the laborious buying process from the poor long-suffering girl!

Adam was hot - hubba hubba.
I was glad to see the return of this series. I love the chemistry between Kirsty and Phil. They are a good team. I was worried when they said at the beginning the Kirsty would do one couple, and Phil the other. I didnt think we would see them together - but they called on each other an awful lot. |

LOL i kept thinking the same thing Mandragora, it should have said VILE.
I have to say i was quite to be Scottish last night, that Adam was a snooty face t**t who was obviously born with a silver spoon in his mouth! As for the other couple who wanted a property for 350k and close to the City Centre - East Kilbride is nowhere near the city centre and where did the extra 100k come from?? I also know people who live in Crookston and there is nothing wrong with the area. I cant believe they turned down that house based on something that someone who doesnt even live in Scotland told them!! PS Phil and Kirsty were on top form! Good to have them back! |
