Charley. My Final Argument!!!
I Know this is long but READ!!!
I have read many times how Charley's performance within the house is not entertainment. Where do you people come from? In my life I am constantly surrounded by arguments, backstabbers, sh1t stirrers and bullies and thats the truth. I can defend myself and often end up in many arguments myself. So I know many people around me can relate to Charley and many times I can see where she is coming from in her arguments. Many of us love watching fights on TV like boxing etc or comedy shows like balls of steel, we love to see people get abusive and losing their tempers it makes the shows MORE entertaining same with big brother. If everything in that house was all nice and pink and playful, I personally would have switched off from day 1. I think you guys complaining that it isn't entertainment are living in a little dream world, where the barriers are up living in nice little villages where the sun shines everyday and all you can hear is birds singing till sunset. But real life in Britain today IS NOT like that for the majority of us so GET OVER IT. If I had a little 19 year old Wag wannabe dictating to me the rules of BB nominations when I already knew those rules, I would give her a piece of my mind and anyone else who stepped in. Charley isn't false otherwise she would be sucking up to all of them to not get nominated, I do admit that sometimes she does do it when she knows she has to but that's the game, isn't that the whole point of the show. I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, i meet more obnoxious people than Charley everyday and I would rather someone tell me the truth about myself than put the icing sugar on the truth, that's how I gain respect for people. I'm straight up, I tell it how it is and that's how it should be. As we all now know Charley does hang out with a celeb crowd and as you know many of these celebs are obnoxious people that look down on others for the fact they are famous. They can and they get away with it, hanging out with crowds like that would wear off on you especially when you know people are they to lick your @ss. And Yes Charley is very entertaining. |

I can see your reasons for liking Charley. I've previously been "entertained" by watching Charley, but now I'm bored with it all, let's see some other housemates being highlighted

I agree yer. Imagine if Charley was gone. I mean even with her IN we still get Ziggy and Chanelle mumbling on about loving each other and what-not on the bed. So with her gone it'll be a BB4 re-run! Maybe that's why BB are trying to keep her in.

charley should be kicked out for the clear breach of rules shown last night with her chat with Billi about making sure Ziggy and Chanelle go before one of them. But then again Charley is so "entertaining". The only time she tells the truth is whenever she said "I'm not being funny but". You certainly arent.

I do find her funny, however, I am one of those that laughs at her rather than with her. She keeps the arguments going which in my humble opinion is a good thing, BB is nothing without conflict. The thing is though, in past BB's we have also had lots of laughs. Barely any this year.
![]() Charley is a nasty piece of work and no mistake, she makes herself look so stupid though that I cannot help but laugh, odd isn't it. ![]() BB3 and BB6 were the one's I enjoyed the most. Perhaps BB9 will be another good one. |

You are so wrong

The above points I've kept from your post are just not so. If you want to live in a Charley-World, then you are welcome to so. Some of us would rather live in a balanced world of ups and downs. As to the singing birds...I grew up in the countryside where some birds are skylarks and robins and some birds are crows and owls.Sometimes it's a bleak, barren, muddy countryside and sometimes it's a pastoral delight. Snarley's world is a nightmare and we don't have to accept it 24/7. I don't. ![]() "We are stardust, we are golden And we've got to get back to the garden"

OK Magnersoriginal, I read the post simply because of your name, (lovely stuff in a glass of ice)
I agree she is providing the entertainment (the others with the capacity for this have already been voted out). Arguments, bullying, swearing and obnoxiousness in general is not my ideal form of entertainment but I dread to think what the house would be like with the sickening lovebirds, mum and dad, adorable sugary twins, moaning auntie, weird stoner (without drugs = depression meets passive-agression). Ok I've missed the gay uncle, the loaded one and Brian (our only hope). Charley needs to stay for the time being otherwise the show will become a bigger disaster.

The first couple of weeks it was vaguely entertaining. Now the shouting and finger pointing is boiring. The arguments are always the same, not interesting or entertaining.
Thrusday to Monday Charley becomes a different friendly person, who the HMs can see straight through now, and that's as boring as the rows. She's draining the life out of the house, time for her to go and lets see some other arguments. They will happen, Charley is not the only one in there that likes to have a go, she's just the loudest and fastest to bite is all. |

Takes two to argue and to be honest you would get your point across far better if you discussed things rather than being the person who can shout louder or act harder. I too come from a rough back ground but that doesn't mean that i can relate to Charley My response: Of course I discuss things, some people can't though you know that Quote: Originally Posted by magnersoriginal Many of us love watching fights on TV like boxing etc or comedy shows like balls of steel, we love to see people get abusive and losing their tempers it makes the shows MORE entertaining same with big brother. . True but not all of us My response: Yes not you because you live in a nice little village somewhere. But yet still boxers are the one of if not the highest paid sportsmen in the world. I wonder how if it wasn't the majority who liked to watch. Oh so in that case we shouldn't try and improve our living conditions or relations with others we should just make sure we can shout louder than anyone else and have killer comeback remarks? My response:No. I am extremely well off. I could move to a nice little village if I wanted to. But I don't. All I'm saying is arguments happen, how can FM say they hate someone just for an argument they have in a gameshow house Quote: Originally Posted by magnersoriginal If I had a little 19 year old Wag wannabe. No, false probably isn't the correct term for Charley, more like ignorant My response: She knows what the others think of her and about the games the others in the house are playing. She isn't ignorant Quote: Originally Posted by magnersoriginal I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, i meet more obnoxious people than Charley everyday and I would rather someone tell me the truth about myself than put the icing sugar on the truth, that's how I gain respect for people. I wasn't either but i do have respect for other people and there feelings and if they want the truth I'll give to them but i certainly wouldn't hoist my thoughts on to someone just so i could keep it 'real' My response: Get real. Oh so its Charleys celebrity friends fault that she acts the way she does. Well that OK then My response: No but thats maybe why she is like she is it's TV. Why make so much fuss about one person. When shes out the house most of you peeps want to see her ruined. Over what? Some silly argument she had on TV? Quote: Originally Posted by magnersoriginal And Yes Charley is very entertaining. I've only read half-way through the thread and I need some clarification to the opposite viewpoints that have been posted before I can carry on - because at the moment I feel a bit confused and lop-sided Hi all the above quoted posters I hope you are OK with my generic query to you all: From your posts I have managed to gleen that you all have strong feelings towards Charley. Would you please explain to all of us how you came to feel such negative emotions about somebody you don't know? [Imho - one needs to try very hard to only ever feel positive emotions - one should try as hard as they can to suppress the negative feelings - if one does not want to get led by one's own thought processes round the bend never to be seen again ]Take it easy out there............... and thanks again to the origional op

I went to my local shop earlier there were around 14 chav kids outside drinking under age giving people abuse. One of them asked me to buy him alcohol and ciggies i told him where to jump. All I could hear was a torrent of abuse whilst in the shop. One threw a cone at the shop window, so shopkeeper called police. When police came they gave police abuse, they were then moved on to return after police had left calling the shop keeper racist names. |
