When she said "everyone thinks you are boring"

When he was in the DR for more than an hour yesterday everyone in the BR had a go at him for being boring. Brianiac played another variation on his "he only talks about museums and art" routine.

I can see Gerry being a bit of a noms magnet next week

I can't believe I am agreeing with Charley, but actually I think she is right. He to me is the most boring one in there. All he does is lay there and bore people with information that they are not interested in. He seemed to really go downhill when Seany left.

He is another one who has not lived up to his audition tape.

Well I think he is fabbity fab - a real nice bloke - with a good sense of humour and intelligence - unlike some we are watching - perhaps his intelligence disarms them - so they choose to use this as a weapon against him -

sad creatures - celebrating their own lack of intelligence and lack of conversational skills - they will go through life learning nothing - staying the same -

Surely as individuals we get older, meet new people, work in new places, visit new places and so on, - this broadens our lives and minds

Sadly some want to stay static

As it happens I'm pro-Gerry. I'm just commenting on the fact that unbeknownst to Gerry a lot of the others happen to think he's boring. I'd rather listen to one of his chat about Greek mythology but the cameras on the live feed always move away when he starts and they never make the HL show

It's not the first time, nor will it be the last time, that Charley is proved to be 100% correct.

In many respects she is acting as a spokesperson for the others.

And to think that there are folk that want to see Charley evicted from the BB8 House, whilst the likes of Gerry are kept in.

Yes, I appreciate that, but when he launches into Greek he still sounds dull. I know he can't help having a dull voice but it's not appealing to listen to.

Charley is right about a lot of them, she just has trouble saying it tactfully or without the seeming malice.

Gerry is boring, but he's not alone, there are a few of them that are putting zero effort in.

I actually had quite high hopes for Gerry, and I think Seany leaving took away his chance at being a huge character.

To be honest I find the Greek accent very funny - having spent some time living there the people and their natures crack me up -

The funniest greek to english translation error most frequently made is chicken/kitchen - the words to them are very similar

So on many occasions they will say to their english guests / friends " I won't be a minute - am just going into the chicken! "

Even if Gerry does talk about intellectual things which may go above the heads of some of the less educated housemates, what right does that give Charley to tell him that everyone thinks he is boring???

It is irrelevent really whether they are boring or not, you just should not say that to someone. Charley is just completely horrible and this is a prime example.

His command of the English Language is far better than some of the HM's who were born and bred here! For example Charley, The Twins, Brian, Chanelle....shall I go on? He uses words they have never even heard of let alone be able to spell them or use them in context. Nadia was the same her English was very good also.

I do think he is becoming a bit boring now though and it's time for him to go.
