Reasonable places to stay over?

For the "Aldershot" folks.

Any reasonable places to stay over night in Aldershot preferably near the train station? Looking for a B&B type accomodation.

Any recommendations are highly appreciated. Thank-you

Not near the station., no, no...Does it have to be Aldershot? Which line would you be on as Farnham which is next stop on Alton line has lovely cheap hotel next door to it, called The Station Hotel, surprisingly!

There is a travel lodge about .5 mile away thats pretty safe and The Royal Arms is about a mile away and that safe..

Thanks. I will be travelling to Aldershot and since I obviously don't know the area or its surroundings, it would be better if the hotel was near by the station. So are there no hotels near the station or reasonably close?

How far is it to travel from Farnham to Aldershot by taxi, from say the hotel mentioned to Aldershot train station?

The poster who recommended it said that it's the next stop on the line. I've been on that train and there's about 5 minutes between those stations, so if I was you I'd get the train.
Dunno how much a taxi is.

Ive heard that its about 20 minutes away by taxi so I would rather skip that option im afraid. So it definately has to be in Aldershot as trains do not run late night

Try travel lodge or travel inn, they are usually quite cheap and there lots of them around.
