Should NEW people enter the big brother house this far in

I personally think no new people should enter the house once the game has started…It spoils it and gives the new contestant unfair advantages…

Unless lets say for bb9 two houses start off at the same time without each house knowing… then if need be they can swap people around between the two houses…

It's never given anyone an advantage in the past.

The later someone comes in the more likely they will go straight back out again.

Eugene is the only latecomer that has ever done well.

I would usually be against the idea but this series desperately needs new HM's. My problem is that it destroys the "no contact" rule.

I think the show needs newcomers - I like the way it changes the dynamics.

There's still 8 weeks to go isn't there? BB1 and 2 were what? 9 weeks?

Yes, we desperately need new people in there. Men and women. I want Ziggy to find a nice partner of his own age and a nice guy for Amanda.

If they dont the show will go under they cannot last another 6 weeks with the lot in there now.

During previous years' Big Brothers I was always against new people going in after the start, but this time, although I am still watching and liking it, maybe it would give it a bit of a shot in the arm.

8 weeks left and last year there were 22 or 23 housemates.

Actually, there is nearer 8 weeks left. There will be more new arrivals later still too, because this lame lot will never carry the series to the end of August, unless C4 don't mind sub 2 million viewing figures.

No, they shouldn't.

It's a sign of how much the producers have failed to create a well-structured show - a desperate "fix" to add artificial excitement and perhaps to affect who stays and who goes.

I think people should enter the BB house at all stages upto perhaps the last 2 or 3 weeks (but need to think more about what would be a suitable cut of point). Allowing people in at all times means the house can always be upset. If no HM were permitted after the first week then the house would become stale

If i had my way id kick this lot out and restart.
It's made me sick hearing them what mags and newspapers they want 'Deals'with.
The only Rule of BB.
Be a housemate 1st and 2nd rate media star AFTER the show,a rule they have all broken.

Yes, bring in 3 new girls and 3 new guys, and give them the bedroom. Turf out all the other housemates, and make them sleep in the living room. Then make all the original housemates clean up after them and wait on them hand and foot.

I would prefer they started with twenty good housemates, had a vote to save every week to preserve the interesting ones, and gradually shrunk the house (closing off rooms instead of opening secret surprise ones) to keep up the claustrophobia.

New housemates are unnecessary and ruin the goldfish-bowl effect cos they always blab about what the outside world thinks.

No to the original question. People who say it is boring now should remember that Ziggy, Seany, Gerry, Liam, Billi, Jonathan and Brian are all 'new' HMs who have come in to to, er, liven it up. After 10 minutes it goes back to where it was. I even think it is counter-productive.

I think yes, as long as they actually contribute to the show and have a personality. Unlike all of the HND housemates last year, except for Jayne.

To put new people in would risk the whole there-is-still-a-prize-fund-to-play-for accidentally slipping out
