If you hand a band, what would you call yourself?

Ok im bored, its friday afternoon. Im tying to come up with names for groups and album titles that have not been used yet. The only one I have so far is -

Girthstentch and the album Shadows of a Misty Earth.

Ok that sounds a big "prog rock / thrash crossover", im having visions of ELP wearing slipnot masks.

If you had a band and released an album what would you call it?

I was in a band...

we were called "Straight" which was quite funny cos of the 4 band members 3 were shirt lifters

I was the only 'straight' ... lead singer as well

My son who is 4, made me and his dad play along (using pretend instruments)to some music we were listening to.
He said we were a band, so I asked him what are band was called. He said the name of the band is:
We Can Still Rock! (if we want to.)

There you go.

The Nihilistics

or Head Cleaner, who would only release songs on audio cassette.

When I was younger I came across the name 'Agent Orange' in a book (it's a herbicide that was used in U.S. military warfare in Vietnam), and thought what a great name it would be for a rock band, if I had one.

Then to my dismay, I discovered that someone was already using it - apparently a Californian surf-punk band.

Bah.

I probably would have called my album 'Juicified'.

I was in a band called 'Grunting Scum' alas we split before we really got going, or actually played anything, or learned our instruments.

My friend had a band called 'Bus Conductor's Clicky Thing'

I was in a band when I was about 16/17 we were called Carnelian.... as in the stone. I remember in a moment of madness writing a song entirely in french about a duck swimming on a river

I'd called my band "Prevention". We would probably be rubbish but at least we would be better than "The Cure"

I've always felt that Jock Strapp And The Swingers has a certain 60s touch to it.
