I admit I fell for the Aussie HM thing last night! The actress was really quite good (I haven't watched BB for a few weeks so I don't know if the fake HM was already known to the outside world).

Anyhoo...is BB wanting a HM to blow Pauline's cover? Given that she has done a fair bit of tv work, and mostly C4 tv work, it is likely one or more of the HM's may recognise her.

Alternatively, I cannot help but think 'Pauline' got the gig because she is has close links, of one form or another, to BB exec. staff.

From what I've seen of the LF, none of the HMs definitely recognised Thaila from the 'footage'.....so I don't see why they should suddenly recognise her in person.

Because it's a task and she's supposed to be guessed as fake. She's only in a few days anyway. Rather boring.

suppose they want to give them a chance of guessing as she is part of the shopping budget task, if she plays it right they won't

from the pictures of her in that band she looks very different to how she looks now, much thinner and very much younger

on the OP though how do you find an actress that isnt potentially recognisable?

Because it's a game. The same reason as asking Chantelle Houghton to pretend she was a pop singer when she couldn't sing and there was another pop singer in the group. It makes it suspenseful and edgy. If they had put in a real Australian actress, it would have been little different from actually putting a real Australian BB evictee in, because no one would have become suspicious. By putting in a not very brilliant actress who may make mistakes and who people might know, the game is made edgy. I can't wait, to be honest; and I hope it's as interesting as some of Makosi's exploits.

Well, to be more exact ..potentially recognisable to the HM's. Why pick an actress whose viewing demographic matches that of the HMs? They could have hired someone who had done purely theatre work etc. or not worked at all. It seems very set up for one of the HM's to guess she is a fake - but maybe that is part of the task. It's highly likely Ziggy will know her - both being from the manufactured pop business.

I was thinking that. Why not find an Aussie actress who'd not been in Neighbours or Home and Away.
